1 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Just returned from a 'festive break' with four others, my advice would be to avoid this hotel. The hotel is run down and in serious need of renovation. The heating was off due to problems with the boiler, rooms were freezing and dining room, lounge and reception areas bitterly cold. After complaining we were moved to rooms which had heating... recently stayed at the hotel with a David Urquart tour. Given the prices paid for the trip I wasn't expecting Hilton style service or accommodation however what we did have was reminiscent of Faulty Towers, the hotel was dated, run down and serious need of investment, for example the ceiling outside our room had leaked at some point and was... I'm just back from a long weekend on an Urquhart's tour of Argyle. I found that the first impression of the hotel was a bit dated but spotlessly clean. The staff were very helpful and attentive, although the barman was never off his phone texting. The manager Frank was very welcoming as was the girl behind reception when we arrived.... More

I went to a caberet weekend to the Glenmorag Hotel in Dunoon last weekend. I had read some of the reviews before I booked and the reviews were mixed. I booked this break with David Urquart and for the money we paid for the 4 days/3 nights it was excellent value for money. The hotel is a bit dated but... More

Never again i was so disappointed as i was looking forward to a 60s weekend, the Hotel was dirty and smelly rooms were so dated it was unbelievable,David Urguart should be ashamed of himself taking people's money under false pretenses,i trusted the company that i would get at least a decent weekend break, but NO I work hard for my money and... Stayed at this Hotel 7th to 10th November 2014. (David Urquhart Coach Party) Location is on the outskirts of the Town and situated at the top of a Steep Hill. Not ideal for anyone with walking difficulties. If you like walking that is alright but to reach the Town Centre ,which is quite a distance away, you have to travel... More

Just had three night stay travelling with David Urghart. The hotel must at one time have been lovely but now only a multi million pound refurbishment will save it. The place smelt of dirt. I felt sorry for the staff who were excellent but seemed to be constantly "fighting fires" such as overbooking the Clyde view rooms. How can that... More

Myself and my wife stayed at the Glenmorag Hotel last weekend 26.10.14, The meals were good, Staff was excellent. Décor can do with some touch ups. In general the place is clean, few old stains here and there but good value for money.

Hotel rooms for what we paid for them was OK clean and included was breakfast & evening meal. The quality of food was acceptable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The public areas of the hotel look a bit tired and could do with in fact a lot of TLC
