Have just returned from the David Urquhart Burns bash. We had a great time. I have to say on reading previous reviews I was not at all inspired......Yes the hotel is dated and the décor could certainly do with upgrading, but the bedroom and bathroom was spotless and the food was good. For what we paid we thought it was... More

Hi, just spent a long weekend at the glenmorag hotel I went with David urquart travel. Firstly the hotel is a wee bit dated but our room was clean and warm with plenty tea/coffee ( great views of the holy loch ) . The hotel is we'll laid out with large restaurant /ballroom & a comfortable bar , there was... More

My wife and I spent last weekend at a Burns Bash with friends and had a great time at the Glenmorag. The hotel was clean, good food, and friendly staff. We will return for another visit next year. We were in a party with over 20 people and everyone enjoyed the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for their burns weekend 23rd Jan. The hotel itself is an older building and decor maybe in need of updating, but we certainly could not fault the cleanliness, the food or the entertainment. Value for the money we spent was excellent. Great choice of meals and rooms were warm and comfortable. The burns weekend entertainment... More

Myself and wife have had a great weekend stay at the hotel. We were at the Burns Bash and were joined with around 20 of our friends and we all had a wonderful time. The room was very clean and warm, and the meals were very good. The staff were so pleasant and friendly, I could not fault the hotel.... More

I was with a group of friends at the Glenmorag Hotel for the Burns Weekend on the 23rd January. We had read Trip advisor on this hotel before we went and it wasn't very good reading. I can't understand what is wrong with some people as it was a SUPER weekend with hotel staff very friendly and helpful rooms warm... More

A group of us went on a post New Year break. You get what you pay for, hotel is past its best and rooms dated. Food was reasonable and bar prices were excellent. Its a 20 - 30 min walk to town centre. As a group we did a bit of hillwalking and the town of Dunoon is very nice... More

Stayed for new year break. Been a decent place in its time but in desperate need of updating. Bathroom in first room offered was filthy. Food was iffy. Eventually got the type of room we had booked. Would not recommend to anyone.

Just returned from a 'festive break' with four others, my advice would be to avoid this hotel. The hotel is run down and in serious need of renovation. The heating was off due to problems with the boiler, rooms were freezing and dining room, lounge and reception areas bitterly cold. After complaining we were moved to rooms which had heating...
