We stayed for just two nights and wish it had been a longer stay! We were greeted with a warm welcome and had a nicely furnished room with beautiful views over the water. Breakfast was amazing and served at a time to suit us, and was delicious! The service was second to none, and would definitely both return and suggest... More

We stayed at this lovely hotel recently, for two nights, and were so pleased to have chosen it out of the many places to stay in Dunoon. It's a beautiful old house, with wonderful original features which have been very well preserved. The hotel is immaculately kept, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The ground floor drawing room was especially nice,... More

My husband and I stayed here at very short notice last week. We were the only guests, and got a free upgrade. Room was huge with a lovely view of the harbour and ferry terminal. The owner has very helpful, lighting the fire for us in the bar/lounge area and making us breakfast to the time which suited us best.... More

We chose this really as we had to bring our dog with us & this was one of the few around that allowed dogs ( come on UK hotel owners - stop being so awkward!). Well, what a great place it was - location, facilities and price were brilliant but best of all was the warm and genuine welcome from... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We had a twin room at the front of the hotel, which was very spacious, with two armchairs and a coffee table. The bar area is very welcoming, with an open fire and comfortable seating. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit, toast and cereal as well as a full... More

This hotel is so beautiful inside, the new owners have spent a fortune in redecoration just a shame that there is no restaurant facilities. The owner couldnt be more helpful and kind. This hotel isnt far from the town centre about a 10minute walk. The views from here are of the Clyde which is great. Food is available next door and... More

We stayed in Castle room with its fantastic views across the Firth of Clyde. The room was large and well furnished with a big 4 poster bed and comfortable sofa and chairs. The large bathroom was well equipped. We enjoyed the freshly cooked breakfasts each morning but it was a shame that the hotel didn't do evening meals. The family... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights last week. It was my first trip to Scotland and we picked this hotel due to its location and convenient distance to places like Loch Lomond. The hotel itself is about 100 yards from the Dunnon ferry dock which is very convenient after a long drive like ours (from Suffolk!). In... More

Very pleasant booking experience over the phone, was a last minute booking for a funeral, made to feel very welcome, we arrived to meet friends who were staying at the hotel the night before and we were asked did we want to check in early at 10am as our room was ready instead of after the funeral which was very... I am just back from a two night stay at the Hunters Quay hotel with my mum and we had a wonderful time. The room we were given was very large and comfortable with outstanding views across the water. The room was immaculately clean and the bed linen and towels were like brand new. We travelled with our dog and... More
