We agree with all the reviews we have read of The Anchorage. Richard gave us a very warm welcome and showed to our beautiful double room at the front of the B and B, complete with sleigh bed, power shower and amazing view. What an amazing place! The Anchorage was very easy to find, and just down the road from the ferry. We had a lovely warm welcome from Richard the owner, and he showed us to our absolutely beautiful rooms. The bed was huge, and had a nice warm duvet and big fluffy pillows : ) There are lots of little touches... more
Our stay at the Anchorage B&B was a pleasure! Great views, flat screen TVs and Wi-Fi! The breakfast was superb and the host was extremely accommodating! Would definately recommend this B&B, close to the ferry also! more
This is truelly a gem in Argyll. We arrived on our motorbikes and found the owner, Richard Addis. to be curtious friendly and an excellent representive to the area. The rooms were stunningly decorated and so comfortable and we were able to keep our bikes in the porch.The view over the Holy Loch and into the Clyde was truelly beautiful... more
