We arrived at this hotel on day 5 of our epic 1114 mile bike tour. The staff were friendly enough but the rooms are terribly small and somewhat grotty. The bar area is tiny and badly stocked. Would not recomend

A few couples stayed here recently as we were in Dunoon for a family function. We stayed in room 5 and the the first downfall was, it was a twin when we booked a double. (we were the 2nd couple with this problem) The hotel seemed clean although very dated. We had an avocado bathroom suite, and a wardrobe that... More

We were attending a family gathering on New Years Eve and chose The Park Hotel for our overnight stay. This is probably the most old fashioned place I have stayed in for many years... However, the welcome offered by the team attention given and all round friendliness was spot on. The hotel was busy with guests attending the Hotels Hogmanay... More

Very clean hotel, staff couldn't do enough for us. Great breakfast. Only downside I would say,was the room was very small, wasn,t a real problem as it was only for one night. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely go back.

We only stayed here one night, and we found the room to be very small, with the double size bed taking up basically the entire room. Everything was clean, but it seemed a bit shabby and in need of some remodeling. The bathroom was clean, however, the wood panel around the tub was loose and it would catch something and... More

Thank goodness we only booked in for the one night as the room was very small, really only big enough as a single but double bed made it cramped. Bed comfortable and room clean. Bathroom dated and old worn board on bath. I had lasagne for dinner and can only explain it as a blob on a plate and had... More

After a long journey due to delay at airport and a sat.nav that kept taking us round in circles by insisting that we should go on the passenger ferry we finally arrived at 21.30. A friendly welcome along with a plate of sandwiches met us. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good which was served by... More

My wife and I stayed overnight at this hotel and the staff were extremely helpful. My wife is coeliac and as such had ordered special dietary food. Hotel catered for this with no issues and made her feel so pleased that someone would take effort. The room was great and very comfortable and despite bad weather very warm indoors

Great place to stay with pleasant staff - staff went out there way to help and provide anything we asked for Food was great - cooked or continental breakfast was available daily - dinners were really good as well (fair portions) Rooms were basic however were liveable and cleaned daily Would recommend this hotel for a budget get away
