After a disastrous previous visit to a log cabin my wife and I and another couple decided to give this holiday village a try near Dunoon. This cabin was everything that we could have wished for. Clean, warm, well equipped and welcoming. The only drawback was that there was not an open hearth to burn the logs we had brought... More

Hunters quay is a great destination for the kids. There was so much to do that the kids played and played until they dropped. The staff were fantastic, the food on site was awesome (like a Toby carvery or branded restaurant) and nothing was too much effort for the staff. The holiday rental was top class, clean, cosy and warm.... More

I cannot recommend this place enough I would give it 10 stars!! I was greeted on arrival by the lovley smiling Yasmeen who checked me in and explained how the whole resort worked. I then went to have some fantastic food and received brilliant customer service from Lily who was a brilliant waitress and even recommended the amazing Steak Pie.... More

We as a family spent four nights just after Christmas at Hunters Quay which included Hogmanay. We arrived early at the site which didn't cause a problem as the lodge we were staying in was ready and waiting for us. The lodge (comfort plus) was beautiful and cosy with very modern soft furnishings etc and two large squashy leather settees.... More

After making the decision as a family to spend Hogmany up in Scotland after what had been a stressful year, we decided on Hunters Quay as it catered for all ages. It certainly ticked all our boxes. Spending time in a cabin with a combination of teenage boys and a 74 year old grandma did not fill me with with... More

Have been to Hunters Quay twice and stayed in the chalets. The first time the weather was amazing and we just spent the time chilling and relaxing. Second time the weather wasn't too pleasant but we still enjoyed the scenery all around the area. We didn't use the facilities much as we were there to enjoy the peace. The chalets... More

We were one of two families who booked Hunters Quay to spend a fun filled Christmas with the kids. (23rd Dec - 28th Dec) On their website there was many activities for the kids, discos, bingo, and also quiz nights, race nights and karaoke. Sounds like a fab way to spend out holidays. We had gone to Drimsynie a couple... More

Stayed here before and over Christmas. Grounds and pool nice. Accommodation adequate but not luxurious. Bar staff seemed professional and helpful but management staff very high handed and aggressive and we put that down to them not being particularly good communicators.. Did not meet the chef. Glad I did not as I would have to have commented on the mediocre... More

On arrival at Hunters Quay we were surprised firstly at the £100 pound deposit. Maybe this should be mentioned when booking. The camp was very quiet but this suited us. A quiet xmas after a hard year. The caravan was clean, well equipped and in an excellent position as requested. The swimming pool is lovely and clean (albeit small and... More
