Travelled with Alfa Coaches and this is one of their hotels, part of the Leisureplex Group. After an horrendous journey up due to bad weather and ferries delayed. we were met by a welcome and taken straight in for evening meal as it was nearly 2000 hrs. On going to our room, cases were waiting outside the bedroom door. The... More

My friend and I went with Alfa Coaches. This is one of their hotels. The staff were very friendly, and made our break special. There was more food than enough. Rooms were comfortable, clean and warm. Entertainment was good, and Andy, the barman, with his poker straight face, came around in fancy dress, collecting the glasses. He was hilarious. We... More

We too arrived on the 26th Oct for a 4night stay at The Selborne on our first ALFA holiday. We weren't to sure what to expect, but after reading another review on TripAdvisor of the same hotel, same week, same place I felt it only fair to put the other side of the coin as we found it. We arrived... More

overall good, room a bit small toilet door requires changing, not much privacy, hotel décor a bit dated , rear entrance a bit off putting derelict building over grown yard . plus side meals good entertainment at night and the view from dining room very good. A wee bit of TLC and it would be very good

Don't be put off by the main entrance to the Seborne Hotel, once into the reception you find a very smart we'll run hotel. Our bedroom on the third floor had recently been refurnished and carpeted, very comfortable indeed. We had a very good view of the hotel gardens, promenade and the river Clyde. There's good selections of food on both... More

We returned to the Selborne hotel, last week, we were really happy to be back, the staff hadn't changed still as welcoming and helpful as the last 6 years plus that we have stayed with them. The hotel has a wonderful family atmosphere with the management all working together with the staff. The food is good with allowances made for... More
