We stayed here as a stopover on the way to france, family of 5, we initially booked here because the travel lodge in Ashford was full, but now would stay here in preference, clean, comfy, quiet, helpful and friendly etc, had a lovely meal in nearby hungry horse pub, much cheaper than having to book 2 rooms in travellodge too,... Solid all round stay earlier in the year. Friendly manner and clean rooms. Didnt have the breakfast but heard good reviews from our friends. Fairly easy to get to and the staff are helpful with directions to nearby attractions.

Stayed at the Rob Roy and it was welcoming as ever. The hosts Sarah and Jim were lovely. B&B is clean, crisp and airy. The food is fit for a king; breakfast wonderful. Sarah couldn't do enough for me.

Myself, partner and our little girl stayed one night on our way to France in the family room (room 4). Firstly Sarah was excellent as a host! She really couldn't do enough for us and made us feel very welcome. Our room had a lovely view of the back garden and was more than enough room for the three of... More

We stumbled across the Rob Roy using Trip Advisor when we were looking for accomodation to book prior to us visiting the FIA World Rallycross Championship at Lydden Hill. Initially, we were intending to stay in Canterbury but the potential cost put a stop to that, so we looked in the opposite direction towards Folkestone and fortunately for us -... More

Very nice one-night stop-over travelling along the South coast. Our en-suite room was nicely decorated, clean and cosy and although it was at the front of the house it was quiet. Sarah was welcoming and helpful. Would recommend it.
