Great welcome and lovely room... Bed comfy, fantastic hosts... Only issue was with a very wobbly headboard but thus is soon fixed I am confident. Our son and dogs made very welcome and the location was perfect for channel tunnel after a long drive. Stayed in I garden room

We would definitely recommend The Rob Roy Guest House. As returning guests we were met with a very warm and friendly welcome from Sarah. Nothing is too much trouble, she always goes the extra mile to make sure that you have everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our room was spotlessly clean as always and we... More

We stayed at Rob Roy for a long weekend and found it very clean, welcoming, with lovely bedroom and en-suite and great breakfasts. Sarah was extremely friendly and helpful with local information and amenities with plenty of brochures and maps. We would certainly stay there again and recommend it to others. Steve & Sandra B

Wholeheartedly recommend The Rob Roy for a stay in the Folkestone area. Met with a really warm welcome and Sarah was more than helpful with advice. The room was excellent and bed comfortable. All the meals were A1, the breakfasts set us up for the days we spent Christmas shopping. We will be back again early in 2014 and will... More

The Guest house has two great hosts in Sarah & Jim who ensure you have a friendly and comfortable visit to their very comfortable accommodation. This is our second stay and we forgot to leave the feedback last time but it was just as good which is why we returned when we needed to stay in Folkestone.

Four of us stayed at the Rob Roy and we were made very welcome from our arrival, especially after a very long drive and late in the evening. Sarah made every effort to ensure we had everything we needed. Some very nice touches in the rooms, like the home made biscuits and an excellent breakfast. it was also immaculately clean.... More

We were travelling with two small children and were a little worried that their noise and mess might be a problem at the hotel but the owners could not have been more understanding and accommodating. They made us feel really welcome and at home, especially with little touches like home made biscuits. The room was comfortable and the shared facilities... More

We have stayed here several times over recent years in order to visit family, and it is even better under the new owners. The new decoration is lovely, and one of our favourite rooms now has a new shower, and I understand all showers and en suites have recently been upgraded. A welcome addition is the provision of an evening... More
