After lots of looking for a quick trip to France I came upon Crete Down. Booking was really simple and friendly which after an hour of trying to find somewhere this was a nice treat. Crete Down was easy to find, parking was spacious and the room was excellent and most of all comfy. Wifi was speedy and easy to... More

My husband myself and my step daughter have just returned from a night at this lovely guest house. we only stayed one night as we went to the War and Peace revival on Satirday and didn't want to travel back, late in the night. The house was so welcoming and the furniture very elegant and fitting in the home. Our... More

A delightful, quiet house B&B with great views of the sea (in front) and a lovely garden yard (in back). The hostess was most kind and obliging, with excellent breakfasts every day. She brought us tea each afternoon and asked about our day.

We stayed here on Saturday 28th June & Henryka made us so welcome from the moment we arrived. She is such a lovely person that we felt like we were staying with a favourite Aunt in her lovely peaceful house. The house is set in beautiful gardens & the back garden, which seems to go on forever, is also a... More

We stayed here July 16i. We had the suite which had a great view of the extensive garden. The host is delightful to chat with - she's very knowledgeable about the area. Also quite accommodating. Had a shared bath. We didn't mind as there were no other guests. Highly recommended

Stayed 3 nights in June. Enjoyed room 4 on the first floor which was en suite and had great views across the town to the sea (and France). Very handy for walks along the Downs and sufficient free parking on site. Breakfast cooked to order and was comprehensive and plentiful. Henryka is a friendly hostess who is very eager to... More

The Jackdaw in Denton being our pick. Our room was clean and well appointed. Bed was comfy and shower was great. Breakfast... More

We had stayed there before and liked it. It is conveniently situated a few minutes drive to the Channel Tunnel shuttle, which was our reason for staying there, to catch it early the next morning. We had the pink room upstairs and although spacious and clean, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, and we kept slipping towards the middle. Not a... More

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady, Henryka who invited us to take tea with her in her beautiful huge garden, where we sat in the sunshine chatting. Our room was the Wedgewood Double en-suite, I have to say I have never slept in such a large bed, and my husband who is well over 6' appreciated the... More
