We stayed here for one night on our way to Dover. We chose The Wycliffe because it is dog friendly. We found the owner very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Nothing was too much for the owner who even left us a packed breakfast as we left early! Would we use this hotel... More

Stayed at this establishment as it was as close as I could get to Dover at short notice. First time I've stayed in a privately run bed and breakfast, usually stay in chain hotels. Strangely for a B&B, breakfast was at an additional cost. Our welcome was friendly and our room was clean and of a good size, although rather... More

I booked this on a Bed and Breakfast site, Folkestone. We come from Germany and think Bed and Breakfast is Bed and Breakfast. OK, I bet I missed some small print but it was not obvious that the price was Bed only. You have to pay 7 GPB per person extra when you get there for breakfast, so I think... More

Nothing too much trouble, friendly genuine staff, fabulous breakfasts, large rooms, spotlessly clean, with large guest lounge and honesty bar, dogs welcome. I would fully recommend this hotel to other visitors. No smoking.

Very clean and beautiful room. I traveled alone for a 1 night trip as was missing the beach being in London for a while. Its a quaint little place with a homely feel. The location is key as the beach cliff is 2 mins away. you need to walk down steps through a nature trail for 10 mins from the... More

My husband I stayed at the Wycliffe whilst visiting my mother, who lives close by. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was bright and very clean with a lovely view of the green and church behind. Breakfast , each day,was superb. They know the meaning of a full English!! Nothing was too... More

Excellent...we chose because it had such reviews and we were not disappointed. Very clean, beautiful room, excellent on-suite. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and they were more than happy accommodate dietary requirements (coeliac disease).

Used this as a base for 4 night stay sightseeing Kent/East Sussex. Quiet location. Very clean, comfortable room overlooking church. Slept very well. Super breakfast every morning with good choice of hot or cold. Tried their evening meals and couldn't fault them. Everything freshly cooked to order - you can make up your own menu and the chef does the... More

We had a very nice three-night stay at the Wycliffe. The room was impeccably clean and very bright. Washroom was clean and serviceable, although the hot water can take a while to warm up. The place is very quiet and centrally-located. Kate is very friendly and makes a wonderful English breakfast! Check their website for discount codes and rates which... More
