This poor hotel needs some loving care. It was clean and tidy and it would be Ok for a short stay in a convenient place. Good situation on the sea front with great sea views. The rooms we had ,were in the front with great views. The hotel was not in a noisy spot so i think any room would... More

Got booked in by a friend for a one night stay. the Hotel is in need of major refurb and the room was shabby. Paid for a cooked breakfast for an extra £2.50, then got told that because we were leaving at 8am it wouldn't be available, only continental so no refund!. Then saw a sign by the lift saying... More

Stayed at this hotel many times and has nothing more to say that it has been always a pleasure. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. Staff are very friendly and always accommodating. Being within short distance of everything Folkestone has to offer (shops, nightlife, trains to London, Eurotunnel) it is the ideal base for your visit to Kent and surroundings... More

I stayed here during my annual trip down this area, and it's a lovely place. Good accommodation plus a nice bar down at the main reception as well. Prices are reasonable and it's an easy walk towards the town center. Definitely worth a stay!

£17.50 for a single room but I was actually given a twin en-suite (didn't complain of course)! Staff were welcoming, as was the bar which greets you as you enter the hotel. The room was larger than expected being a twin en-suite (not the single I had paid for) and was well equipped (LCD tv, tea and coffee, shower, toilet,... More

After a long trip up from the south west I was looking forward to a good sleep. On getting into the room all I could smell is a messy hamster cage. All I have to say really. Not a brilliant hotel. You get what you pay for.

I stayed in the Salisbury for 3 nights, having stayed here before, and would recommend it due to the value for money and beautiful location, overlooking the Channel. The staff were very helpful and polite.

I visited this hotel on the 06 March and stayed until the 8 march 2014, I am a wheelchair bound solo traveler. When booking my stay I was informed that there was access into the hotel for wheelchairs, which indeed there was, my only difficulty was the hotel lift, which unfortunately was a very tight fit for a powered wheelchair,... Travelled to Folkestone for a funeral so our booking was very last minute. Booked 3 rooms for 7 people, for 4 nights, Rooms 109, 114 and 206. Arrived at 9pm on a Wednesday, left at 8am Thurs. Good Points.... Its spacious. It has its own resident ghost. Express check out. Bad Points.... We arrived at the Salisbury to be ignored... More

We stayed for a night before we went to France. We had the family room which had a beautiful view of the sea through an enormous bay window, and a double bed and 2 singles. It was very spacious. The staff kindly prepared us toast and cereal an hour earlier than the designated breakfast time as we had to leave... More
