I have stayed here for 7 nights and it's been a pleasure. It's clean, the breakfast is set on a menu with a choice of kipper, full english or cereal with a choice of tea, coffee or/and juice. Good food and very helpful. As I am a single guest the only thing i would change is my room, I personally find... More

Hi. Stayed here a few times doing an overnighter picking up my customers coming off a cruise in Dover. Probably would call this a budget hotel now but i think it would have been a top place 40-50 years ago when the british seaside holiday was the only holiday available to us brits. Hotel close to the promenade & shops.... More

Staff very friendly and helpful as the lift had broken down and we were helped up the stairs with our cases. Our room was very spacious and bed comfortable and clean, but would have preferred a duvet instead of blankets. Breakfast was well cooked and enjoyable, served by a lovely lady. Hotel close to town and amenities, with the sea... More

Just returned from a 4 night stay here with a coach party. Hotel smelt musty when entering for the first time. Steep flight of narrow stairs but as our room was on the 3rd floor we went to the lift - it only holds 2 people at a time. Got out to maze of corridors and then had 9 steps... More

The owners and staff were very friendly, and everwhere was generally clean. Good points: location, basically clean, inexpensive Bad points: a little shabby, very basic room, there was a spider in a web across the chair in our room, and our room (only our room) had a problem with the water pipes "singing" - but the owners are trying to... We stayed in the langhorne after a long trip from Scotland and prior to our euro tunnel trip over to France. The staff were fantastic after arriving very late at night and the room was very clean and comfortable, if slightly old fashioned. In the morning the breakfast meal was plentiful and nothing was too much bother for the staff... More

No cold water in bathroom,I was boiled in hot water there.Telephone in my room was not worked properly.Hotel room was dirty. My always friendly dog was badly attacked and injured by another dog on steps of the hotel.Dangererous place to stay in.Old with poor decor, with very cheap shabby paint off furniture, tiny tv.Very sad. Just try to avoid to stay there.

Run by friendly owners and staff this was a great location for our overnight stay prior to the early ferry crossing the following morning, being only a 10-15 min drive from the ferry terminal.Parking outside is at a premium but eases off after about 4pm,so we just moved the car round later and parked right outside the hotel. There is a... More

our family stayed in the spacious family room, which was comfortably large. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpfull, also the breakfast was good. When we will travel from England to the mainland by Eurotunnel again, we want to stay here again.

I was booked into another hotel, but they had overbooked so put me in the Langhorne instead. The rooms and furniture were very old fashioned, think patterned carpets, woodchip wallpaper and candlewick blankets, (no duvets). But I must say that the hotel, although old, was very clean. I found the staff very friendly and hard working. The breakfast was well... More
