I spent my first night in the UK at the Hotel Relish and it was a wonderful experience. The owners were very pleasant, the accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious. The location isn't exactly picturesque, but it is convenient for many things. I was greeted warmly, given a tour and all the information I could need,... more

Just had to write a review because I thought Hotel Relish was amazing. My Boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights and had a fab weekend thanks to Sarah, she helped us with where to go for dinner, where to go for a walk...everything, and nothing was any trouble for all the staff. Felt very relaxed the whole weekend and wished... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here on Saturday night just for the one night, although we wished we stayed two! We were seeing a concert at the Leas Cliff Hall which is quite literally within five minutes walk of The Relish. Upon arrival, we managed to get parked with no problems. Checked in and were given a tour of the... more

WOW! This hotel has it just right! Fantastic location and the hotel itself is fabulous, full of character and charm. We stayed in the Park room. There is as much wine, beer, tea/coffee and homemade cake as you want! We settled into our room straight away and in fact we didn't want to leave, so we asked if we could... more

This really was a lovely hotel with very considerate and friendly staff. The location is really good for those who are staying in the town or using this as a jump off for the continent. The local restaurant recommendations were solid. The room was very good; the rain shower was a nice touch. My other half was up and out... more

We loved Hotel Relish! We had a 3-night stay in the hotel back in October 2007 while visiting family who live in the area. From check-in to check-out we were very pleased with this hotel. The owners and staff we extremely helpful, and very pleasant. The room was very, very clean (a bit on the cozy side though.) The owners... more

A lovely hotel offering B&B. Nice, friendly and helpful staff. Free wireless internet connection. Room was well presented with some very nice touches; remote control lights, rain head shower, flat screen TV, DVD player and a very comfortable bed. No room safe for personal belongings and the old sach windows were a little drafty. Upon arrival you are offered homemade... more

We stayed at the relish prior to crossing the channel. I had high hopes for our stay but unfortunately it did not get off to a good start. The directions were dreadful and were no help in finding the location, we must have been driving around for at least 30 minuites. Upon arrival, i ran in to find out where... more

As everyone else says this must be the best small hotel. Nothing is too much trouble - we arrived late and tired and they helped with finding a restaurant. We had a good sized room with all teh facilities including Freenet television. Not expensive [though it is no cheaper to book through any "discount" site]. I have been before and... more
