After finding my room I almost left straight away. There were loads flies in my room and I spend the next 45 minutes swatting them. There was a strong smell of smoke in my room. Took me a while to figure out why by I soon realised the smokers use the small balcony under my only window - my only... More

Dear Vinnie. I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience at the Guest House but the reasons you've put forward don't seem genuine. There's a staircase outside your bedroom window not a balcony and smoking is strictly prohibited there. Regarding the dirty environment, well based on reviews from Booking.com, Lateroom.com, hostelbookers etc, we have one of the best levels... More

Stayed here for the Tour de France a couple of weeks ago. Very friendly staff and a lovely room for the price. Breakfast was fine although mine did come without bacon but it wasn't the end of the world. Would definitely go back again. Have stayed in far less superior B&Bs and had to pay far more for them.

Conveniently placed and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful - they couldn't do enough for you. The room wasn't expensive and but was very clean and comfortable. If travelling to Huddersfield again in the future I will definitely be coming back.

We spent 3 nights here whilst attending a wedding nearby. The room and bed was decent for the price we payed and the staff were very friendly and helpful, on-call 24 hrs. Would use again if staying in the area.

Wonderful guest house. Accommodations were just right. Nice breakfast, and the owner was very personable. Highly recommend The Edgerton Guest House. They also recommend a great restaurant for us. Location was great for us , and they also had ample parking

The wife and I stayed overnight here on the 10th of May as we were at a party nearby. The car park isn't the largest so it is a good idea to arrive early if possible. The guys who run the guest house are very friendly and helpful and helped us book a taxi for the party. The room was... More

We had a double and a twin room which had been created by dividing one large room, so neither room was huge, but as we were only staying one night, that didn't matter. The rooms looked recently refurbished and everything was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. When we asked if we could leave our car in the... More

We stayed at Edgerton Guest House in Huddersfield for one night on 26th April. The guest house, including our room – with 2 queen size beds, was clean and well presented. Beds were nice and comfortable. Was a ittle crowded in the room with the full size beds and 3 peoples suitcases, but worth it for the comfortable sleep...so not... More

We stayed here for one night of our holiday, so we were not expecting much from the Edgerton, but we were pleasantly surprised. We were given a choice of two rooms, one with an external door so we could come and go or a bigger bed with a shower room. We chose the bigger room and had a great night.... More
