Sue and Chaz are wonderful hosts. Our room was spotless. Decor is a bit dated as others have noted, but that is more than made up for by the friendly, personal service. Lovely English Breakfast, good tea and coffee. Ample parking. Highly recommend!

We read the reviews for this B&B and decided to give it a go. A man let us in - we presumed he was the owner as he didn't give a name. Our room was at the top of the house and was a decent size. It was very clean but outdated. The walls were covered in anaglypta and the... More

We stayed for one night as we were in Huddersfield for a family party. Very large double room with heaps of character inkeeping with the property. Great welcome by the owner. Tea, coffee, herbal teas and biscuits in the room. Good breakfast with cereals, juice and toast. Well worth the £60 paid. A little gem.

This is a very well run Guest House in Huddersfield, which is worth exploring in itself. Rooms are individually decorated and spotless; there are also nice touches e.g boxes of tissues and thick towels. Breakfast is substantial. The owners of the property are welcoming and helpful. It is easy to get to some of the loveliest parts of the UK... More

Elm Crest is a guest house where you can feel comfortable and where you are looked after. For the cost of a Travelodge with breakfast included you can't really go wrong. Free Wi-Fi was an unexpected bonus Would fully recommend

Booked for two nights had to cut short my stay. Not the fault of the B&B. Clean and tidy,a bit dated. Don't count on getting the much commented on scones or cakes on arrival. I barely got a civil welcome. Breakfast was fine. Value for money. But nothing special.

Nicely decorated room, friendly owners, good service, very good breakfast, one of the best B&B's we've ever stayed in. I would recommend Elm Crest to anybody staying in or passing through Huddersfield

Large Victorian house with fairly large rooms. Very clean, comfortable and great welcome from Sue and Chas, who were very friendly and chatty. Good breakfast with good choice of cereals, yogurts, juice etc. Just outside of Huddersfield at Edgerton - easy to find. Free parking. Would recommend and would most likely stay again on subsequent visits to the area. Shower... More

Just returned from staying here since we went to hear the Messiah by the correct choir in the correct venue! It was marvelous. This is the second time I have stayed with Sue and Chas, and I have recommended it to many of my friends and acquaintances. The tariff is more than reasonable, the rooms clean, warm and comfortable, and... More
