My stay at Huddersfield Central Lodge was excellent. My luggage was stored for me since I arrived too early to occupy my room. No hassle about that and no one expecting a fat tip for the service like at big hotels. Easy walking distance to and from railway station. We stayed at The Huddersfield Lodge whilst going to a rugby match at the nearby stadium. The Car park is extremely secure - you want to try getting your car out of there! We had 2 rooms just for a Saturday night on April 25th. On the plus side: Good central location and secure parking. A warm welcome and help with arranging a dinner reservation. We live in Hong Kong & we stayed here while we visited our daughter who lives in Huddersfield.
