Prior to our stay we had requested an early check-in so that we could change for a wedding later that day. The lady that greeted us at the front desk was particulalry rude and didn't exactly give the type of welcome I had been looking forward to after driving 6 hours. She knew nothing of our planned early arrival and... more

Booked this hotel last minute the same day we were going up to Huddersfield. Had a look on tripadvisor and saw good reviews for it and we weren't disappointed. The staff on reception were excellent, friendly and happy to accommodate a later checkout for us when we asked them upon checking in. We had previously stayed at Cedar Court Hotel... more

Have been staying at the hotel for 4 weeks on business now and will be until xmas!! Normally I would stay B&B and eat out each night but that would mean staying in some noisy town centre hotel and I like my peace and quiet which is why I chose this hotel as it is in the middle of the... more

I did not stay at the hotel so cannot comment on it in that respect. I had a room booked but for various reasons had to cancel. If you reserve a room with the hotel on the 'flexible' rate you can cancel it at any time and at no cost prior to 1pm on the day of stay. Pretty standard... more

I booked this hotel directly to celebrate my father's 65th birthday, there was a total of 10 of us staying the night on their special dinner, bed and breakfast rate (an amazing £90 per couple!) the lady in reception was very helpful and showed us the rooms we would be staying in. From us arriving to leaving nothing was too... more

My fiance and I decided to book a room in this hotel for a romantic getaway in the Pennines. After all the good reviews we read on Trip Advisor, we were pretty confident we would have a fantastic weekend. Especially because we had a very good offer 'booze and snooze' with 1 night, dinner and full breakfast included for just... more

great hotel for business traveller. comfortable bar, and 'ok' restaurant. Staff reasonably pleasent. Rooms are worn, but have nice touches, like a complimentary small bottle of sherry and choclates. bed very comfortable. Ironing board etc. rooms on one side overlook motorway, 2miles away down the hill, but you can still hear it in the rooms if you open the windows.... more

Had wedding at Pennine Manor but received no guidance throughout!! Only contact was made by us which is a bit worrying when you trying to sort your wedding. Venue its self was nice (although the honeymoon suit was a bog standard double room) but the staff were very rude and abrupt to myself, my hubby and guests throughout the day.... more
