En route to the Lake District we decided to visit 'Last of Summer Wine Country' - we chose The Old Co-Op for its 5 star Silver award and this lovely B&B certainly didn't disappoint. Chris and Valda made us feel so welcome after a long journey and nothing was too much trouble - they even provided Gluten Free biscuits for me on the Tea Tray - lovely! The attention to detail was evident everywhere - luxurious bedding on a superbly comfortable bed, flat screen TV, books and magazines, fresh fruit - all beautifully clean and so pretty! The fabulous large bathroom had without doubt the best shower we've ever had anywhere - and we loved the 'mod cons' - touch sensitive lighting and dimmer switches etc. The other pretty guest room didn't have an en suite but it did have an adjacent Private Bathroom with a fabulous free standing Roll Top Bath - wonderful!
