We where offered a room for an extra £60, rather than my 86 year old mother walk up and down steps and through an open court yard. The room was excellent however they omitted to tell us there was a function below us till midnight, the music thumped and vibrated throughout the room, I complained to the reception. On the... More

A little late in adding our review but we had a small intimate wedding at Luton Hoo for 8 people back in January and the setting and the staff made it the most perfect day. Great event organising beforehand and executed well on the day. The staff are well trained and deliver appropriate service for their clients. Will stop and... More

Luton Hoo is a very special place for us as we got married there not long after it opened. We've been back a few times since when budget will stretch that far as it isn't a cheap option. It's a truly magnificent hotel, like living in your own stately home for a couple of days and the staff are tremendous.... More

My 86 yr old mum has mobility issues and uses a wheelchair. We booked an accessible room in Jan 2013 but it was in a basement, in the annex, with numerous flights of stairs a long way from the restaurant. For this stay I specifically asked to be closer to the restaurant, it was a Sunday. I was advised that... More

We arrived at the Luton Hoo on the most beautiful, sunny spring London morning...and it is simply one of the most beautiful hotels in world. The main hotel is stunning and the grounds and gardens are elegant and immaculate. My room (standard king) was extremely spacious and comfortable. Think old-world luxury. Very quiet and even after flying in from the... More

I went on a 1 night spa break which included dinner in the Bistro and 1 hour of treatments. We were put into a room separate from the main house but near to the Spa. It was large, the beds were comfortable and it had a lovely little garden. We had a brilliant 3 course meal in Adams Brasserie included... More

Two nights in this fantastic venue - with a room as big as my first flat! Great staff great food and the public areas of the hotel as good as any museum. A quiet first night with a club sandwich in the bar was like being at Downton with discreet service and elegant surroundings. Second night was a formal dinner... More

This is old fashioned luxury in every sense. The house is a magnificent Robert Adam masterpiece, remodelled inside after a fire in the 19th century but retaining the original feel. We can only comment on the main house as there are other accommodation buildings. The staff are incredibly attentive and we were upgraded when our room wasn't ready at the... More

The good side..wonderful location, impressive and majestic building, beautiful grounds and staff lovely. Main restaurant very memorable, decor excellent, and service very professional Bad side..the food! Starter was a salmon terrine..looked so good on the plate..BUT it had been chilled for too long and was tasteless..full marks for appearance, none for taste. Main course was pea and asparagus risotto..again it... More

We stayed on Sunday 6th April for one night, in an executive room. It was a huge room with a king size bed and a sofa bed for our daughter. Both beds really comfy, room was luxurious and opened onto lovely gardens. We were close to the spa and pool which was ideal and we could use the pool at... More
