I've just returned from staying 2 evenings in the Stockwood. I live in France and was just using this as a base nice and close to the airport. Good Points: Room was clean and tidy as was the bathroom. The room was well enough equiped for what I required. It was very close to the airport.... The staff were lovely... more

for a small family run place i was impressed. It seemed as though customer service was top priority, as everything i needed was always tended to. The room was comfortable, a tad small but sufficient enough and very clean. I had a shared bathroom but this was very clean too! Shame there was no room service, but the restaurant served... more

I was flying out of Luton Airport early in the morning so needed somewhere close to the airport but at a reasonable price. I didn't expect much as I only paid £50 but was pleasently surprised and breakfast was even included. The staff were really friendly and even though I turned up an hour after check-in closed, the guy at... more

I was due to fly out from Luton airport early in the morning so thought it would make sense to stay somewhere close. This hotel was recommended to me so i thought i would try it as it was reasonably priced. I wasnt expecting much however when i checked in i was extremely pleased with the cheerful attitude i received... more

Very rude staff. Family owned. The desk clerk came at me, accusing me of displaying poor attitude in the way I handed him my creditcard ????? After I had payed, He suggested I checked out right away with no refund. You have to pay for the room before you can see it. NO refund if you check out early. Late... more

We booked on line, and gave the card info required, but still had to do it again when we arrived! no explaination was given why! We were catching an early flight from Luton the next day. But, without a doubt the biggest rip off hotel we have ever experienced. Shabby, inadequate, poorly staffed, reception was in the bar or vica... more

The hotel's facilities are adequate when there are just a few guests but probably not when the hotel is full. I don't know how many of the rooms are en-suite but I suspect very few are. The one shower per 12 or so rooms therefore would be grossly inadequate when the hotel is fully booked. There is a notice in... more

For it's price it's not a bad hotel and the staff is friendly. Try to avoid the rooms at the busy street side, as there is a lot of traffic noise, even at night. If you are lucky you'll get a spacious room, however you could also end up with a cramped room with hardly any space to move around.... more
