Great place, clean rooms, friendly staff and around a 10 minute walk in to the town centre, where there's plenty of places to eat etc. It was about a 7-8 minute walk from Luton train station and about £15 in a taxi to the airport. Great place for a stopover. Lovely outdoor seating too, made nicer with a glass of... More

I would loved to have spent my wedding night at this hotel but due to no one answering the phone and trying to book it "too far in advance" I was told that all the rooms were suddenly gone 5 minutes before I rang. Which isn't even convincing. After having rung them in total about 7 times waaaay in advance... More

My family's stay there for 2 nights in August 2011 has left very mixed feelings. What I have rated as poor is not a hotel per se but our stay there. It might well be that what we identified as problems during our stay are of no importance to some but matters a lot more to others as they did... More

The Leaside is an unusual hotel in the heart of Luton, which you would not expect in such a location. We stayed there for one night driving through to the south of England. The room we got was very charming and carefully decorated, giving you the impression to be in a boutique hotel. As the hotel is very close to... More

Let's start with the positives: the bed was very comfortable, bed linen was clean and the staff helpful. The dinner was fine. But the moment you went through the first fire door on the landing, the place smelled odd, unpleasant as did the room. The room I was offered was claustrophobic and behind a warren of fire doors. I didn't feel... More

My wife and I stayed at the Leaside last Friday and Saturday night. We throughly enjoyed our visit and found the room clean and comfortable. We stayed in a room on the ground floor which has its own patio area immediately outside the entrance door - as smokers this was very welcome. The decor of the hotel is modern and... More

Wow, who would've thought such a gem of a hotel could exist here in Luton! Our room (106, The Coach House Suite) was simply outstanding! Beautiful wooden floors, full of character, free standing jacuzzi bath, two tv's, Walk-in double shower, sumptuous furnishings, beautifully and tastefully decorated....Just Awesome. The staff were very helpful and polite and the parking is just a... More
