I was taking my student son to catch an early flight from Luton airport for a voluntary work placement in Hungary, so we needed an overnight stay. I originally looked up the Travelodge as an easy option, but took the advice of TripAdvisor readers and looked for somewhere else! The Leaside turned out to be an unexpected gem. It's an... more

The hotel was utterly charming. 10 mins and less than £10 by taxi from the airport, making it cheaper than the faceless concrete blocks at the airport! Within walking distance of the railway station & the town centre. I was overjoyed on arrival to be upgraded to a suite!! The honeymoon suite no less!!! Sadly i was traveling on my... more

If this was near the town center then no other hotel would have survived competition from this since it's a beautiful boutique hotel i guess. Got a deal thru expedia for two nights and 80 pounds with breakfast. One of the good looking hotels in UK. I think they are run by a family. I will definitely stay again. more

As we turned the corner and caught sight of our hotel my first thoughts were this does not look like the place I booked, but as we got closer to the front of the building we were relieved to see that it was just like the pictures we had seen. The receptionist was friendly and checked us in swiftly, offered... more

I stayed at this Hotel for six days, it is a wonderful Heriatge building with lots of Character. It is close to shopping, the train is just around the corner ( Downtown London, Oxford and Bond st in 25-30 minutes ), Airport is close. Most important is the ambiance of the place itself and the Staff were wonderful. The restaurant... more

We were initially only looking for a hotel for us to stay in overnight before flying out on holiday from Luton Airport. With two children under the age of 2 I was expecting some difficulties in feeding them/ keeping them entertained in a small hotel room. I found the Leaside online and liked the look of it - it is... more

Wow... when I drove to within a mile of the hotel I wondered if I had made the right choice - the area is not great for nightlife, however this hotel was fabulous.... Quite a few rooms, but an absolutely personal touch. Staff who were mature beyond their years regarding their approach to customers. Great rooms, wonderful food....... I felt... more

Found hotel by web search, chosen because of very favourable reviews and apparently very competitive price (£80/Saturday night, for an exec suite). Whilst the room was quite ok, it's really quite a stretch of the imagination to call the room a suite. Large bedroom with ensuite bathroom would be accurate. The hotel is also described as boutique style in an... more
