Okay, the positives... good location, easy to find and close to the national express buses and train station. The last point is useful as after one night in this supposed 4* hotel you'll be itching (quite literally) to leave. Describing the walls as paper-thin is doing a disservice to paper. The Strathmore Luton is located right in the city centre next to the Mall Arndale. Across the street there is the Galaxy Centre where all the coaches leave. The service in the hotel was good. Have stayed there twice, Single room is just that 'Single' and very small, but incredible rates and the room is spotless, and well maintained. Ate there both nights and the food was good and plentiful (Well it was a buffet!) The Breakfast is excellent. Staff very friendly. more
