We returned to Hindon, our base for several years of happy family holidays, after a 2 year break and it was wonderful to be back. Penny and Roger were as warm and welcoming as ever, the rooms (like the Exmoor landscape which surrounds the farm) are beautiful and the food outstanding. This isn't the place for you of course if... We came here for a birthday weekend and it is just completely lovely. Beautiful room with iron bed and floorboards, amazing old farmhouse and delicious breakfast with organic cereals and (so my partner reports) fantastic sausages from the farm. The farm itself is beautiful, and the surrounding countryside lovely - we walked in the sunshine to the beach and got... More

Lovely place and a perfect spot for exploring the beautiful and diverse landscapes of Exmoor NP. On a 18km hike, we walked through classic Farmland with cute little villages, forrest, moors, alpine like coastal rocks and along little streams in green valleys. Nice room with great bed. Penny served a great breakfast. We loved the animals around the house.

Fantastic relaxing break - so picturesque when you meet the farm at the end of the road with ducks waddling and cats to greet you. Lovely to meet Roger who showed us around and confirmed that they were happy for us to wander and meet all the animals including a lovely calf, a mass of new born chicks and the... More

We are just home from three nights at Hindon Farm. It was an ideal place to stay as two couples. The bedrooms were delightful and the lounge for guests meant we had somewhere to congregate in the evening. The breakfasts were sumptuous. The eggs laid by free range organic hens and cooked by Penny produced a very rich scrambled egg.... More

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Hindon. This is a B&B on a working farm with sheep, cows, ducks, hens and even a Peacock. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was really nice with a large shower and roll-top bath. There was a very nice guest lounge. The breakfasts were very good with... More

My husband and I have just enjoyed a weekend break on Exmoor and stayed in the beautiful old Farmhouse. It is off the beaten track but well worth finding and in a good position to explore the Lynton/Lymouth and surrounding areas. Met by friendly ducks, geese, chickens, dogs and cat on arrival, all enjoying playing in the farmyard. Our room... More

We stayed in the self catering cottage as a group of 3 couples, and had an excellent stay. After a few sat-nav wrong turns (the directions on Hindon Farm website are the ones to follow) we ended up at the right place. The track to the farm is narrow as some have commented, but there are passing places and it's... More

A beautiful B&B, well off the beaten track which makes finding it fun! We were greeted by a gaggle of geese, ducks and truly free-range chickens as well as a brook running across the drive, from which the fowl were drinking and playing. A couple of friendly dogs and the farm "mousers" completed this idyllic scene! The old farmhouse has... More

My wife, son, daughter and dog have just come back from a lovely trip to Hindon Organic Farm. We stayed in the self catering cottage last week and had what my son calls the best holiday ever. My wife and I are in our 30's and our 2 children under five and there was loads to see and do. Lovely... More
