We were made very welcome by a pleasant lady and shown to the top (third floor) room. The room was compact and clean. The room however could do with a makeover. The en-suite was tiny with a flimsy sliding door for privacy and the electric shower had a broken knob! The bed was extremely comfy and we enjoyed a good night's sleep (lovely and quiet). We were told that the lounge was available for guests to sit and read or watch tv but each time we entered the lounge there was a play console plugged into the tv and building blocks were strewn on the floor. The English breakfast could be improved if better quality bread and tastier beans were used. There is room for 4 cars to park on the front of property. Overall we found it pricey in comparison to other places we have stayed at. more
