Had a family holiday here. Two rooms both spacious with tv and kettle as you would expect. Top drawer selection of biscuits as well. There is a good choice for breakfast and Peter and Katryona cater well for gluten free requirements. Peter is a very friendly host and obviously well used to serving a full room of people simultaneously. My... More

Stayed for 5 nights. Room was a good size and had a great garden view. Everything was clean and tidy. Bed very comfy. Ensuite spotless. Not a boutique hotel. The decor suits the age and style of the building. Fine by me. Plenty of choice for brekkie. The cooked breakfast was lovely and if you have coffee you get your... More

My wife and I stayed here with our four month old baby between 9th August until 12th. We were given a family room on the ground floor with easy access to the outside which was handy with a pushchair. The room was very clean and had all the facilities you might expect, TV, tea and coffee facilities and toiletries in... More

Read the previous great reviews and found they were all absolutely correct. This is a fantastic hotel to which we will return, if there's a room available! Thank you for a great overnight, before a great trip on the adjacent West Somerset Steam Railway.

Booked late minute knowing the location suited me. Couldn't have been better. I wanted a two night break for a comfortable retreat. The friendly greeting of the owners, the quality of the room, and the breakfast were well appreciated. Easy parking (if required). A couple of minutes from the town centre, bus stops and West Somerset Railway. (Steam)

Edwardian building full of character with everything like a new pin. Rooms are clean, neat and up to date with all the conveniences and comforts. Friendly, helpful hosts eager to help and cater for their guests and the breakfasts are everything you could want. The house is on a quiet one way street with minimum traffic even though it lies... My husband and I recently spent 3 nights in mid- June, 2014 at the Glendower House Hotel/B&B. The location of this hotel is perfect. It is only a few minutes walk to the West Somerset Railway station and the beach. We had a room on the ground floor and found it to be very comfortable, clean, and quiet. Our room... More

We spent two nights in mid-June, 2014. Lovely gardens around back with a massive rose archway greeted us shortly after Peter's warm welcome to his and his wife's well-run establishment. Our room was clean and quiet with an extra bed which could have been nice if we had a child (and was not disclosed when we booked the room on... More

With no kids for the weekend, Gorgeous Girlfriend and I had a short break in Minehead. the Glendower proved to be a sublime find. A warm welcome, a spacious, light and bright room, quality toiletries in the en suite, and a tasty choice for breakfast. The guest house is a short distance from the main shopping street and the seafront.... More

We stayed for 2 nights over the May bank holiday for some great walking and sight seeing. We couldn't fault Glendower house at all. The welcome was nice and the room big enough for us with an excellent shower. It is located about 5 minutes walk from the sea front with all of the usual restaurants and bars. The breakfast... More
