My husband and I stayed here for two nights in early September while attending a wedding in the nearby village of Withycombe. We were in Room 1 (I think - it was the first room that you come to at the top of the stairs) which was very spacious with a Kingsize bed, and had an adjoining room with two... More

My wife and I stayed 2 nights on 12th. 13th. Sept. Our room was immaculate, very clean and the towels were really fluffy. We had 2 small dogs and the hotel were very dog friendly. The breakfast was exceptional, a full English was a good start to the day. We really enjoyed our visit and will certainly be back again.

Just spent two great days at this Hotel. Harvey and Natasha are great hosts. Yes, it is quaint and quirky, but bet it can tell a lot of stories. It is beautifully furn ished respecting its age, very clean, and the food, cooked by Harvey is deserved of 5*. We stayed Dinner, Bed and Breakfast. Donot overlook this Hotel it... More

Had a lovely 2 night stay. Nice Hotel with character. Good quality food but sadly evening meal choice was a bit limited in variation. Friendly staff and a good location for various activities and places to see. Would certainly visit again if in that area.

Having business interests in the Minehead area I have spent over the last 18 months on average two nights a week at the Dragon House which is on the main road from Bridgewater to Minehead and about 12 miles before you get to Minehead. If you are looking for a modern featureless place to stay then don't come to the... More

We stayed in room 1 with our two children; we were expecting one room with beds for all of us but were pleasantly surprised to find the children's beds were in a separate room off the main room, so we could put them to bed and not have to sit outside the bedroom door! The children's beds were fold-out beds... More

We stayed in room number 10. Excellent like having your own suite, large room, separate large bathroom fluffy towels Ideal for dogs as has separate entrance so they don't have to go into the main building. Only downside was the lack of mobile signal but as we were trying to have a break that was fine Will definitely stay again

We stayed in rm 10 - looking out over the garden. A lovely quirky room, very clean and comfy. Breakfast in the main hotel included yogurt, fresh fruit, home-laid eggs and local bacon etc. Lots of wonderful walks close by! The adjacent busy main road is far enough away to not disturb you through the thick walls. We would definitely... More

I stayed here with my sister for a girly weekend away; we are both professional women who like luxury and spoiling when we are away. The room (number 5) was huge and decorated in creams, golds and reds with antique furniture. The bed was huge, there was a large wardrobe and plenty of other storage. There was also room for... Good food, friendly staff, lovely sunny courtyard for relaxing and gentleman's club style lounge for after the sun has gone down. Right on the main road to Minehead, but no noise due to thick cottage walls. Picturesque building with every room different. It even offers DVDs and books! The only downside is that those thick walls mean limited or no... More
