Another fantastic weekend at the old ship since the new ownership, the bedrooms are spotless with the most comfortable beds, food excellent and the home made profiteroles are to die for, hospitality superb, cant fault anything. Well done Julian and the crew, you have really turned the old ship around, we cant wait to return in the very near future.

The Old Ship Aground turned out to be a delightful find - wonderful staff, an excellent kitchen and a first-class chef. And Ringwood beer! - well, two brews, anyway. We were in the town... More

It’s a great pub, friendly staff, with good value excellent food from simple good tasting bar snacks through to a full on menu. The pub overlooks Minehead harbour, a very pleasant place to while away an afternoon over a cider or two.

We were very impressed. The location is excellent as is the hospitality - we felt welcome, by staff, locals and fellow visitors. The food was excellent and the staff made every effort to accommodate a coeliac and a vegetarian. Even though busy, nothing was too much trouble. Room 9 is defintely good value for money - big light airy double/twin... More

Had a great carvery yesterday and friend a splendid gammon. Nice to see the pub busy inside and out but it was lovely weather and the tide was in - so unsurprising. Staff very helpful and chef warned when gammon was about to arrive so that my carvery meal coincided and we could eat together - really helpful especially when... More
