The positives are: Come and go as you please Great shower Great views Good sized rooms Negatives: Parking is tight Cold on check in and bed felt damp Large stains to fur bed cover Keys to be left in drawer in unmanned reception when going out which leaves you open to... We arrived as a group of 10 to trek across Exmoor for a couple of days and we checked into Marston Lodge which was within walking distance to the beginning of the moor. The lodge offered everything we could have dreamed of with a special welcome from both Alex and Naomi. Fantastic rooms with fantastic views, amazing lounge with open... More

A lovely house. With very welcoming hosts. very interesting and tasteful decor. would love to spend an evening or two here under different circumstances. Today spent a couple of hours in this lovely house to celebrate the life of my deceased aunt after her memorial. The hospitality was very good. Great food and service. The hotel has stunning views.

Adorable place to stay, great view of the town and the sea, nice yard in the back as well. But really the owners were the best part of our experience, they were so friendly and wonderful. They served an amazing homemade breakfast (really, wow) and they were really present in case you needed anything. They gave us a map and... More

Stayed at Marston Lodge for a weekend break to visit the area and Dunster by Candlelight, and glad we did. The hotel is in a great location above Minehead and a short walk from the town and beach. It's tastefully furnished and with a great welcome from the hosts. The family room arrangement was via a 'z-bed' which was great... More

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Breakfasts were excellent, particularly liked being able to make in own coffee in a cafetiere so that we could have it whenever we wanted to in our breakfast, rather than when someone deigned to serve us. My only criticism is one which is inevitable in a house of this age and style... More
