Arrived mid to late evening for a 3 night stay. Greeted warmly by the host and shown to our room. Good size bed and bedroom, with comfortable shower and bathroom. Breakfast on each morning was a complete delight. Beautifully scrambled egg and bacon cooked to perfection. Alex provided us with a delightful trail of Exmoor, most of which we conquered... More

Marston Lodge was a great hotel - ideally placed to explore Exmoor, the Brendon Hills and along the coast in both directions. Our room was very comfortable with lovely views of the bay. Generous supplies of tea, coffee, milk, water etc. were provided. The breakfasts were excellent (although would have appreciated some plain yoghurt). Our host Alex was helpful and... More

We stayed at the Marston Lodge for a long weekend and thought the place was great. Our room overlooked the town and the beach and was well equipped with tea making facilities, table, armchairs and a comfortable bed. The shower was quite new but it needed a bit of getting used to although there was always plenty of hot water.... More
