We stayed for two nights over Easter and were really surprised with the high standard of the hotel, restaurant and spa. We had a fantastic value half board offer and the hotel went above and beyond our expectations. We had beautiful views onto the golf course, excellent food and a comfortable stay.

I took my other half here for his birthday. I paid for the Bacchanalian Feast package - 2 nights b&b, plus 2 3-course meals, one with wine pairing. The stay was lovely and relaxing, staff very friendly and even gave my other half a birthday card which was a nice touch. The beds are slightly hard but rooms are comfortable.... More

I stayed for just one night but the experience was memorable and would definitely go back. Ticks all the boxes for comfort and cleanliness and the service was excellent. Small things make the difference and the complimentary fresh milk in the fridge was a real welcome surprise for my tea making when I was looking for freeze dried milk or... More

We stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of April on the Bacchanalian Feast package which was excellent. The food in the restaurant is superb and the accompanying wines with it were well chosen by the sommelier. The bedrooms are large and spotlessly clean and it's a pleasant change to have a large bathroom with a separate bath and a... More

This is the 4th time we have stayed at this hotel and what a great weekend we had. Golf in the morning, racing at Newbury in the afternoon topped off with dinner in the hotel - Food was better than previous. The rooms are spacious and quiet and the spa is just perfect for lazing around on Sunday morning. Excellent.

This hotel is a well rounded. I stayed here dozens of times whilst contracted to a client in Newbury. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped e.g. dvd player (ask reception to borrow dvds). Excellent spa and gym facilities. THIS GYM ALSO HAS CLASSES! e.g. body combat and pump. The only let down for me was the food which... More

With such a nice hotel, and such friendly staff; it was so disappointing to receive such inedible food! I wish it had just been me that was disappointed, but even the meat eaters at my table couldn't stomach the food. Would still happily come back, but will be eating elsewhere.

This was our second trip on a Saturday night on an inclusive deal. We like the hotel as the Executive rooms are very well appointed and have a great view over the golf course. The rooms are nice and quiet too with good sleep quality. The food in the restaurant was exceptionally good - better than on our first stay... More

We came here for the Whitewater Valley Wine Society annual dinner, a special evening arranged exclusively for us by the Hotel. There were 50 of us, who stayed for the night, with use of the leisure facilities. Our evening event consisted of a four course dinner, preceded by a glass of Prosecco, and accompanied by a tasting of a lovely... More

We stayed here for 2 nights to get away for Valentines day. We booked 2 special packages together on the hotel website - 1 night with three course dinner, breakfast and cream tea and then 1 night with Sunday lunch. We upgraded from the standard room which was nice but mainly because it included slippers and robes which made walking... More
