We had the family room, exposed beams, open fire place, separate room for the kids and a basic kitchen. Ate in the restaurant, very nice basic food, nothing fancy. The staff were knowledgeable about food intolerances and were happy to suggest alternatives. Although breakfast wasn't included there were cereals, pastries, bread and juices available free of charge. Recommended!

Stayed for one night whilst visiting the nearby Balding racing stable. Friendly welcome from staff and locals. Acccomodation in the converted farmhouse was comfortable , spacious and was furnished with ' character ' The evening meal we had in the pub was very good quality and well priced. Complimentary DIY continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise but was slightly soured... More

After a visit to Highclere Castle this lovely pub is just nearby, we went for lunch and were pleasantly surprised at the quality and amount of food. I had the home made pie and for once it was actually homemade and delicious. My son had the best Brie and bacon sandwich he's ever had. Would definitely recommend anybody to give... More

We stayed here for an overnight stay on the 7th July. From the moment we were warmly greeted we were made to feel welcome and really at home. We had booked a double room and a family room. The double room was far more than you'd ever expect for a B&B. It had a little kitchen area which was stocked... More

The accommodation is situated in a separate cottage which is very pretty. I shared a twin room which shared a bathroom with another room. Both bedroom and bathroom were nicely decorated, clean and well-maintained. I thought even the bedding itself was lovely and I had an excellent night's sleep! Our friends stayed in the family room downstairs which features it's... More

This property is very functional for a large family. The "family room" is essentially a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen area (but you can´t really cook) separating the 2 bedrooms. It is comfortable and equipped with nice bedding and towels. The double bed mattress should probably be replaced sooner than later, but we passed 4 nights there with basically... More

We spent one night here and were very impressed with it. Our room was actually more of an apartment with a kitchenette and sofa. Very clean and warm, the breakfast was of a self service style with bagels, cereal, tea, coffee etc in very generous quantities, it was just the two of us but it would have fed six! We... More
