My first trip to Scarborough was spent in the delightful comfort of the Tall Storeys Hotel. Conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the beach, this B&B is full of charm and character. I stayed in a clean and cosy room, with a stunning view of the sea and a comfy bed that ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The... More

We stayed at the Tall Storeys Hotel, in Scarborough for 3 nights in October, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The hotel is perfectly located between the North Bay, the South Bay and the centre of town, but away from the hustle and bustle of the waterfront (although just a 2-minute walk from there). Despite not being at the... More

On my third visit to this wonderful house. The rooms are spotless and beautifully decorated. we could find nothing that would spoil our few blissful days. Run by 2 fantastic hosts. The service is excellent and the breakfasts were perfectly cooked and presented. The selection of fruits and jams etc are fabulous. The view is superb too. Nothing could fault... More

The Castle, the beach, the theatre and town centre are all within short walking distance of this lovely quiet B&B tucked away in the old town. Morna and Ian's breakfasts are delicious and we'll definitely be back for another relaxing stay. It's like stepping back into the 1950's...in a good way!

What a beautiful place run by two wonderful people. We are so thrilled to have somewhere where we can run to and relax....a fantastic setting in the old town and far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be able to really chill and yet close enough to enjoy a fair ride and an ice-cream or a ride on... We arrived early at the hotel and were immediately made to feel very welcome. We were given our room at 10:30am, despite check-in being at 2pm. The couple who own the hotel are extremely friendly and are very knowledgable about the area and the events taking place there. The room was beautiful and the food was of a very high... More

Couldn't have been made to feel more welcome - it was like staying with friends. Friends who can cook a fantastic traditional hot breakfast as well as provide a superb cold breakfast buffet with copious fresh fruits as well as the usual cereals, yoghurt, juices, grapefruit segments and - and -and -and! The room had a great view and everything... More

My daughter & I have just returned from a weekend in Scarborough. Tall Storeys was home from home ( not suffocating like some guest houses ) Morna & Ian were so friendly & helpful but not 'in your face' nothing is too much trouble for them. They made us feel so welcome. The whole place was very comfortable and clean,... More
