We have just returned from a long weekend in Scarborough staying at TALL STOREYS. What a delightful guest house. When we arrived we were greeted by the owners, Gordon and Hilary. Once inside it was like a walk back in time with the wonderful decor furnishings. The bedroom we had was en-suite with a large 4 poster bed which was... more

This small hotel located near the castle in Scarborough is indeed tall. Tall and thin. The height provides magnificent views of the scenic harbor and town ... as well as providing a decent workout climbing the stairs, especially for those on the top floors. We didn't mind, it was worth it! The rooms are somewhat small, but are beautifully decorated... more

This was our second visit to Tall Storeys having visited last November for our Wedding Anniversary. Like the first time, everything was spot on, from our lovely hosts, to the cleanliness of the room and facilities, the excellent poached eggs and those little extras that make TS stand out from others. The addition of Wi Fi meant that I could... more

We chose Tall Storeys as our stopover on the drive north to the Edinburgh Festival recently, after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. What a great experience! We loved our room which was pretty, well decorated and full of nice little extra touches that made our stay that bit more special. The hosts were charming and friendly - and even... more

I read all of the reviews before booking the Tall Storeys, with so many 100% reviews I was slightly dubious that all of them were accurate. If you have the same fears then put them to rest, this place is the best and the owners are a credit to their profession. Gordon and Hilary will look after you, way beyond... more

We didn't actually manage to get here ... Tourist Information supplied us with the contact. We had planned to use our credit card - TI told us credit cards were accepted. When we rang to make the booking, we were told a card would only be accepted "reluctantly". This was confusing, leaving it up to us. We also felt humiliated,... more

After 3 years of searching we finally found THE BEST bed and breakfast in Scarborough! I stayed for 2 nights with my husband and daughter, to attend my sons graduation, and we all found the experience to be faultless. The rooms, breakfast and hosts were all wonderful, nothing was too much trouble (they even ironed my daughters outfit!!) We will... more
