Accomodation as part of holiday with Macsadventures. No twin rooms so were in two seperate rooms at the top of the house. They ensured our luggage was on correct floor. Rooms had everything and quite spacious. Breakfast very good. Situated in easy walk of the town, beaches and castle.

We stayed for 2 nights at Tall Storeys at the end of May. We had an immaculate room which had a great sea-view. Ian and Morna couldn't do enough for us in terms of helping us to park, get settled and offering advice on the local area. The breakfast was delicious and we had very generous portions. I couldn't recommend... More

We stayed here for the second time over the Easter break and will definitely be back again! Can't fault this place in anyway, the tranquil setting and lovely owners just make you feel right at home. Again, we had a full breakfast alongside fresh fruits and yogurt which were delicious, generous portions. We had gorgeous weather so that made they... More

I stayed for two nights in a double (single occupancy). I was upgraded to a four-poster room (room 5) as one was available but was shown the room I'd booked too (room 1) which looked similar standard. The hotel is in a quiet cliff-top location but with easy access to both bays. Ian and Mauna are welcoming, accommodating and friendly... More

Can't say enough about Ian & Morna--they were lovely! Ian greeted us at the door, along with a parking pass. My wife had a headache when we arrived, and instead of providing us with directions to the nearest Boots, Ian fetched some acetaminophen straight away--you can't ask for much more than that! Only a few hundred meters from Scarborough Castle... More

We booked two nights at short notice to take in the Scarborough Festival. We Chose the Tall Stories after reading the reviews. Met by Morna one half of the owners and welcomed in even though we were two hours earlier than check in time. First impression is that hotel has a quality about it ,the furniture in the public areas... More

Just returned home after a lovely weekend at Tall Storeys. A lovely hotel with two very attentive hosts who look after you so well. The place is spotless and extremely comfortable with lovely decor and excellent facilities. Breakfast is plentiful with a good choice to choose from. Our hosts recommended Arabesque, a new Middle Eastern restaurant and even took the... More
