I came to the travel lodge with some friends from wetwang for the Richard Whitley application society Christmas do. We chose the travel lodge for its reasonable price and views from the rooms. On arrival the room looked ok but we found some horrifying discoverys including a foot through our ceiling (picture to follow) the curtains are quite frankly. On... More

What can I say. Stayed here for 1 night but wouldn't have stayed that long if we could have found somewhere else. Filthy, tiny rooms, very thin walls, tiny weird bathroom, sheets had disgusting marks on them. Bunk beds crammed into the corner at the window, just awful. Would not recommend, the pictures give you a false image of what... More

Booked a break at the hotel when on a family visit to Scarborough. Loved it! The hotel is has quirky décor, was very clean and piping hot water. Breakfast was excellent ! very helpful friendly staff and (very important in Scarborough) a free car park!. will definitely stay again. Thank you.

Myself and my wife had a very enjoyable stay here last weekend. The rooms were clean and comfortable, all the staff very friendly and amiable. Being located in the Valley area of Scarborough it's a short walk through beautiful grounds, down to South Bay which is a very picturesque indeed. We enjoyed it so much, we'll be back next year,... Can't recommend this place highly enough! Staff are excellent and every need is catered for - Richard and Helen can't do enough for you. The location is fantastic with it being only a short walk to the South Bay beach or in to town.

We have just arrived home after a few nights away staying in this hotel with the family. I would just like to say although the room was on the small side it had everything we needed and it was clean. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we will definitely be booking this hotel again. The location was... More

Quick check-in. Room small no seating very old tired bathroom beds singles pushed together with lumpy topper. if u want budget accommodation this could be for you. However if its budget you want stay away from the bar was charged £3.25 per can of john smiths. Surprised when leaving to see clean towels & bedsheets outside room ready for changeover... More

I booked this hotel as part of a weekend away for myself, my wife and her parents. My parents in law got one of the front rooms pictured on the website, which is nice. We however got a room like a walk in wardrobe with a pint sized toilet-cum-shower complete with mould and noise as if a herd of elephants... More
