Had a great night here. Beautiful old rooms and old quaint hotel literally 2 mi Utes from the castle. Has a beautiful veranda to look out to sea. Owners are a delight and totally look after you. They even have rooms if you have dogs or any other animals. Breakfast us in a large old dining room and U.S. whatever... More

We first came to this hotel a couple of years ago following a late decision to take a break and desperation to find somewhere that would accept a small dog. Under those circumstances we didn't expect much. We soon found that the place had history and character. We first stayed in room 2. It is amply sized, the bed is... More

We were in Room 2 which was lovely. Comfy chairs and bed, large ensuite with lovely towels and toiletries. The room had all you needed in terns of hair dryer, iron and plentiful supplies of tea and coffee. It was a Seaview room which had amazing views over the North Bay. There was a shared patio outside the room which... More

The hotel is dog friendly and on the ground floor rooms you have patio doors so you can let your dog out,there... More

I have reviewed this guest house as very good on two previous occasions, however, I was really disappointed on this visit. We were given a sea view room on the first floor which was cold, miserable and dinghy! The room felt as though it had not been used for some time hence the very cold feel to the bedding. We... More

There is a comfy lounge area and a rather splendid dining room. Even though we had the last available room which is one of the smallest, there was... More
