This is far the worst place we have ever stayed. We booked 2 nights and only stayed 1 we then went and found a far superior place just round the corner which was actually a little bit cheaper but we would have paid more . We spent one night at the Chatsworth as a last minute thing in July, and were charged 65 for a double room with ensuite. The room was blatently not designed to be a double, with an old divan bed squashed against the wall and barely room for anything else. our room was clean and comfortable.The hotel is close to the beach and short walk to shops.lovely buffet breakfast with views of the sea.staff very friendly and welcoming we will be ging back more

We were pleased with the size of the room, but were overcome by the smell of bleach. We realised that the bleach was used to disguise the smell of damp from the mould on the ceiling in the bathroom because when we returned to the room after breakfast, the smell was overwhelming. Where do i start? We booked a twin room but were offered a double or bunk on arrival. We chose the double. There was literally 6 inches space between the bed and wall which meant you had to side shuffle in and out of bed. obviously ther was no room for a bedside table and there was no bedside lighting... more
