The room was blatently not designed to be a double, with an old divan bed squashed against the wall and barely room for anything else. Indeed, even with our one backpack between us, we felt cramped... more

Having read mixed reviews and having stayed in some very nice places and some awful places in the past, we kept an open mind on this one. Basically, we think he website is slightly misleading and it all depends what your expectations are and what you consider is value for money. After all, you may only be there for a... more

We were pleased with the size of the room, but were overcome by the smell of bleach. We realised that the bleach was used to disguise the smell of damp from the mould on the ceiling in the bathroom because when we returned to the room after breakfast, the smell was overwhelming. This preempted our early checkout. The breakfast selection... more

Where do i start? We booked a twin room but were offered a double or bunk on arrival. We chose the double. There was literally 6 inches space between the bed and wall which meant you had to side shuffle in and out of bed. obviously ther was no room for a bedside table and there was no bedside lighting... more

Room and bedding clean - no issue there. Good location too. Breakfast not good! (only ate there one morning - ate out at a cafe for the rest!. Basically was cereal and bread to make ur own toast. Diluted orange juice and tea n coffee. My major concern was chipped crockery in the breakfast room - mugs had chips in... more

A very basic room. no toiletries in bathroom just an old soap dispenser. Very thin small towels to get dried on. A bathroom floor that hadn't seen a vacuum in weeks. One bedside cabinet and shelves on the wall for clothes. The breakfast was just a joke. loaves of bread left on a table with a toaster. We asked for... more
