Just returned from a long weekend at The stuart House Hotel in Scarborough. Had a great time, room was lovely and it had recently been decorated to a high standard. My friend and I really enjoyed ourselves and the staff could not do enough for you, would definately recommend to all our friends. more

Shabby furnishings/decor. Bathroom had mould. Had to climb 4 flights of stairs to room. Beds uncomfortable. Parking nightmare. Breakfast ok, but need more than 1 person serving. Desperately needs refurbishing. Not worth price charged. Glad it was only 1 night. :-( more

I booked this hotel for myself and my elderly parents. It was brilliant. Breakfast was served to them in their bedroom which was perfect as Mum does not "do" steps or stairs. Very friendly welcome and free voucher for parking. Great location on cliffside overlooking bay Breakfast was delivered with remarkable efficiency. Although the hotel was busy no-one was left without a good choice of breakfast and a cheery word or two from the hosts. Will definately use when next there and recommend to all. more
