The hotel is being decorated around the guests. Wet paint in corridors, workmen walking through the restaurant, asbestos roof being removed in the carpark etc. Staff with the exception of the dining room staff were rude, unhelpful and inefficient. Just had a very nice weekend at the Clifton hotel and really enjoyed it. We had a lovely room with a sea view and it was very clean and comfortable. Very good value for the money we paid and we found the staff very helpfull and friendly. Will certainly go again.
