A comfortable location for a quick break to the area's sea side locations (Scarborough, Filey, Flamborough etc.). A friendly welcome, well maintained bedroom and en-suite, with good quality traditional breakfast. Safe overnight parking, much better and cheaper than trying to find a seaside space!

Gave it a try despite some previous dubious reviews and very pleasantly surprised. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and freshly painted with comfortable bed and clean shower room with nice toiletries provided. Rooms overpriced for what is in effect motel accomodation. Bedroom smelled damp. Food and wine at dinner v. good, but breakfast very average.
