Stayed here in October and we were bowled over by the place. The decor is stunning, simple and classy but so comfortable and welcoming. The 70's style lounge is a great touch, with a juke box and fresh coffee and cookies it was a great way to end the evening. Breakfast was stunning with so many choices including vegetarian and... The Waves is an eclectic and quirky mix of retro 70's and modern simplicity. Two night stay with a teenage daughter who also enjoyed the experience of listening to records in the evening. Charming hosts who were very welcoming. Spotless rooms with crisp Egyptian 100% cotton bedding and towels. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of choices and lots... More

We stayed at The Waves a few years ago and had a great time so we chose to stay here again this time - why tempt fate elsewhere? My husband and I stayed in room 2 - an immaculate room with lovely decor. My teenage son had booked the single room but Kevern very kindly upgraded him to a double... More

We were at a wedding and decided to stay at The Waves rather than up the road at an expensive hotel and we are so glad we did! The room 3 was really lovely, so clean, cosy and quiet. The owners pay a lot of attention to detail and we really appreciated this. The breakfast was great and the owner... More

We stayed at The Waves for two nights 3/4 September 2014. The room was very clean and tea/coffee facilities were excellent with a good range of tea. The room has a booklet to let you know about The Waves and also has the menu for your breakfast. Again there is an excellent choice. Kevern was very helpful and friendly. I... More

The owner stayed around for us to get in after being in a seriously long 60 mile traffic jam getting there from London till we got there at close to 8:30 pm. This place is just gorgeous! Kevern, the owner and his wife were just wonderful. They couldn't do enough for us. Breaksfast was amazing. The room was really light and airy. Bathroom was wonderful with a massive bath in the centre of the bathroom! Close to a few pubs, and Scarborough itself. Lovely little seaside place. Would recommend this little B&B... More
