Just returned from a 2 night stay at the Lysander. This was an exceptional B & B in all areas. Immaculate, lovely breakfasts, lovely people they deserve to succeed.

room was spotless - superb breakfasts - friendly hosts - ideally situated for Peasholm Park and Open Air Theatre . we will return - no problems

Simply the best B& B we have experienced and we,ve been to many over the years. We were part of a walking group and facilities were ideal but a great family venue also . No hesitation in recommending.

Really friendly hotel, immaculate throughout and the nicest staff ever. Food was best quality local produce and well prepared. The number of visits we have made to the Lysander says it all . Very high standards , immaculate ,good food ,great staff and ideally situated on the North Bay. No parking problems and a quiet location . We are looking forward to yet another visit in September .

Nice Bed & Breakfast, but not really a "hotel". Clean rooms, with enough room and amenities, tea, coffee, free Wi-fi, free view, etc, to make the stay comfortable. But no real life in there, no evening meal available,and breakfast was limited to 08:30 - 09:00. I'm guessing fine if you're looking for a sea side B&B but as I say... More

Friendly hotel, immaculate, well decorated and clean, a perfect base to enjoy Scarborough North bay, with only a steady ten minute walk to the town, Peasholme park is two minutes walk away. Myself and my partner booked a last minute break to Scarborough. The Lysander is easy to find. We were checked in quickly, our room was spotless. We booked a superior room and everything was great. Late check out was a bonus, breakfast is early but it was very good. All staff were lovely. Location is decent, 5minutes from Peasholm Park.... More
