This hotel is in a great location for the town, beach, food places, etc. Everything within a 5 minute walk. The staff are excellent - very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and fresh-smelling. Also, it is a very dog-friendly hotel. Obviously dogs cannot go in the restaurant, but there is an area with tables and seating next to... More

Very nice hotel, family room was huge with a lovely big bathroom. Very nice seafront view, comfortable beds, excellent facilities made it a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, nice fresh food. Very good value for the price, would definitely recommend this hotel.

I spent four nights in this hotel whilst attending the cricket. In common with most Travelodges these days, the staff were helpful, welcoming and attentive, but there a couple of things to think about if you are planning to stay there. Firstly, this is a converted building rather than than the usual purpose built hotel. Though there is a lift... More

We stayed at Travelodge in Scarborough and the staff were SO helpful, but the only bad bit was the room, the TV didn't have all the channels which my children were sad because they were 10 and they didn't want to watch cbeebies they wanted to watch POP or CITV but the rest was Great

Great location. First time at Scarborough Travelodge. My son was ill and was sick all over the bed and floor. The staff went above and beyond to find us another room. Nice and clean. Two minutes from sea front. If you like a seagull alarm-clock it's ideal, but they soon give you tunnel vision.

Staying at travelodge was quite appalled there was no where to park, on asking at check in was told its all full out here, you can (then showed map) go down here and try a street or go into a car park where you will have to pay. On asking charge was 10.00 to park for our stay from 7pm... More

you know what you are going to get with travel lodge clean rooms clean bedding , what more could one ask. the only thing about the hotel is it is at the sea side and you get lots of noise from the sea gulls , but that is not the fault of the hotel

Hi just to let people out there that it's a must to stay at the St Nicholas travel lodge fantastic accommodation quite minimalistic but all you need very clean. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the food is excellent. Danny the manager runs a tight but tidy and happy ship. Well done all the staff there we will... More

this was my second time staying at this hotel - stayed again last year, and stayed this year 13th-17th of July. I've read through many of the reviews and I can only agree with the good ones. I cant say anything bad about this hotel - good and friendly staff, clean, good view (if you ask for a seaview), and... More

This hotel is in a great location, that's the good point. The rooms are extremely basic which is fine but the price for that is getting rather expensive. With all the cheap boarded "furniture" screwed to the wall it reminded me of a prison strip cell. The worst feature though was the so called food. Whatever you do, don't even... More
