We stayed for 1 night last week and I was disgusted ... It's supposed to have had a refurb with comfy beds .. That's a laugh ... The lift that was working was far from our room and when we had trekked up and down the stairs I was shocked at our room . The bed was almost on the... More

We have stayed in a lot of Travelodges in our time. Sometimes they are the difference between going away and not .But I am starting to feel that staying in Travelodge is like flying Ryanair you expect crap and by golly they are going to give it to you. The hotel is parallel to the sea in an imposing Victorian... More

We had 4 nights in this travelodge and enjoyed it. Rooms were very clean and breakfast was very good. This is situated near the beach but there are alot of steps to go down to get on the sea front. Parking was a bit of a nightmare and can be costly.

Clean bed linen, clean towels, clean bathroom. Dirty windows with general dirt and bird poo! 1 lift working that was no bigger than a shoe box, lift was supposed to hold 4 people, I would have struggled to get my 4 kids in there. The only lift that worked was up a flight of stairs, so I had to bump... More

Not the hotel's fault but had to move rooms at 3 am when the police were called to the room next to ours and the room below ours. 5th floor is very isolated with only 3 rooms and narrow stairs leading to it. Hotel was like a maze with stairs everywhere and not good signage. The main lift was out... More

We had a good room looking out to sea. The room was basic but comfortable and was fine for our family. Bit disappointed with the watered down juice at breakfast but otherwise quite good choice for the price.

Stayed here for 2 nights, usually stay at North side of town but because of walking problems thought we would try being more central. Reading previous reviews I was worried at what I had booked but room was clean and comfortable, the bed seemed new as was bedding, bathroom was also clean with nice white towels, We were at back... We are deeply sorry to hear of the issues you experienced during your stay with us Janej69. Our hotel staff regularly check the mattresses and, if one is not found to be in a suitable condition then it should be replaced. We would also expect our lifts to be in full working order during your stay. However, in the event... More
