I booked this hotel for one night as i was taking my grand kids away for the weekend, the cost was £43 and this included breakfast ( you get 2 free children breakfast with one paying adult) Check-in was very easy, we were given our room card, and this is also needed for the lift. Our room ( 109 ) it... More

The St Nicholas hotel in Scarborough is currently going through a refurbishment, we stayed here in oct to celebrate my 30th. Upon arrival we struggled to find a parking space as there is a small pay and display car park shared between a number of large hotels which isn't ideal. It cost £3 per day to park if you were... We arrived on 4 May 2015 having requested an accessible room (mobility issues) and given room 501 on 5th floor. We were told the lift only goes to 4th floor and there are about 15 (very deep) stairs to climb (on a very narrower than standard domestic width almost spiral staircase) to get to the room. The receptionist said we... More

We come to Scarborough once a year for the bank holiday and would stay no where else. The first room we were allocated smelt of drains and someone had been smoking in. Reception changed it straight away and we got a fantastic room 321 (must of been about 30 foot!). It is the staff that make this hotel, nothing is... More

Lovely rooms with great sea views. Spacious and re furbished. The hotel is located very well for a pleasant exploration of Scarborough. Staff were very pleasant on check in and departure. Definitely worth a visit.

Stayed here 1 night. Currently going through a refurb so outside looks bit of a mess with all the scafolding. Checkin was quick with friendly helpful staff. Ideal location as close to town centre and aslo to the tramway down to the beech. New beds are very comfortable but I found pillows a bit thick for my liking. Did not... More

Excellent service , it is having a face lift so will be brill after that. Very comfortable rooms and bed,, warm and cosy, pillows divine, needed a bit more hanging space, and the parking is not good at this one in scarborough, but we did park and then used the good bus service, and the water took a long time to... This is a fabulously located travelodge. A lot of the rooms have sea views and it is close to the town and both bays. The hotel hasn't had its upgrade yet ( hence the scaffolding ) but the room we had was very clean and fresh, and we didn't notice any noise from the work being carried out. The staff... More
