Excellent location and very friendly staff. Unfortunately our room was unclean with tide mark around the bath, soap splashes on the walls above the bath from previous occupants. Cobweb from the ceiling light fitting to the smoke alarm which was thick in dust so had been there for sometime. Edges of carpet not hoovered for sometime. Rizla type cigarette paper... More

2 night stay for couple and child. Staff very friendly and helpful. Found radiator heating not on - after we had unpacked. Went to reception, and was offered another room with electric heating, but we didn't wish to change rooms. Young lass came up to our room with a portable electric heater whilst the problem was investigated. Great efficient service... More

Me and my family stayed here for 1 night, I rang up beforehand with a request and the staff member I spoke to was very accommodating, on arrival there was a pleasant receptionist and explained everything we needed to know. When we entered the room it was clean and the staff had put the heaters on for us knowing we... More

The hotel was a typical Travelodge clean, tidy well kept room. The hard worked staff were very helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. However I can understand why only my wife & I were in the "Café" it was expensive for what you got.

We booked here as we were dissatisfied with the standards at the Britannia Hotels. We were very impressed upon entering the hotel. Very clean bright and welcoming. Checking in was such a different experience. The 2 young men who dealt with us were so polite, helpful and friendly. Our room was warm clean and inviting. The bathroom was excellent- the... More

Stayed for 1 night on 1st January. Firstly to say the building is completely surrounded in scaffolding which, unless you care about the look of a building wasn't an initial problem, that is until the strong winds came in over night and all we had for 4 hours was rattling poles and boards keeping us awake. The room itself was... More

Phoned ahead to ask about parking and mentioned that we would love a sea view room, when we arrived we had just that which was great, just the scaffolding in the way but still great views over the coastline. Parking is £3 for 24 hours if you get a card from the hotel which is great value. Hotel bar is... More

We have just spent three nights here over the New Year and were put in room 126 which must have been a modern equivalent to the Black Hole of Calcutta. The hotel is covered head to foot with scaffolding both on the front and the internal courtyards. Our room looked over the courtyard which would have been bearable has we... More
