We stayed at the Travelodge Scarborough from the 18th-21st October 2014. We wanted to stay at the Premier Inn but it was fully booked so we checked out the reviews for the Travelodge and wish we hadnt as it totally put us off but having stayed in Travelodges before, we decided to book for a few days. The reviews left... More

If you have one of the rooms at the front of the hotel, you may find yourself woken by sunshine streaming through the window in the morning and a spectacular view down the coast from Scarborough. The Grand Hotel opposite had loud music until midnight on Friday and Saturday, but that was just about acceptable. Unfortunately, some guests were a... More

We stayed for two nights with our two dogs. We had been concerned after reading bad reviews on Tripadvisor but a quick fax ensured we had a very nice room with sea view as promised. The room was clean and quiet and there was plenty of hot water, For the price it was excellent and we would stay again.

No car parking. My advice would be to take up any space in crescent outside the hotel on arrival and obtain tickets from the hotel check in. Otherwise parking can be a very expensive affair. Good though

Excellent value for money. Staff responded immediately to a few minor problems in the bathroom. The room was quiet even though the hotel was full. Parking was available nearby with cards from Travelodge. All in all a very pleasant stay

We stayed at the Scarborough travelodge for one night in December. It was between Christmas and New Year so we knew that Scarborough would be quiet. No problems with check in. The room though was strange to say the least. It was huge! We had a double bed and that looked tiny in comparison to the size of the room.... More

We have stayed at this hotel before although a good location the decor was quite tired but this hotel now has a fresher look and is undergoing refurbishment, our room was brilliant and the bed new as were a lot of the fittings. The elevated location means superb views to the south bay whilst within short distance of the town&shopping... More

My Husband and I stayed here in August in a family room. The kids we're not with us but it was nice to see that the beds were already made up for 2 children, and upon request we received a sea view family room! You could see the sea and ships going past from the bedroom window which was lovely... More
