Welcoming and attentive hosts. Breakfast a lot nicer than a b & b we stayed in at twice the price in Whitby. Lovely fluffy white towels, comfy bed and lots of space and storage. Approx 10 min walk to town centre and beach, but in a quiet location. Local shopping a two minute walk. Would definitely stay there again.

Quiet location, a steady 15 minute walk to Stephen Joseph theatre. David and Elizabeth are incredible hosts so good they should be cloned and have b&bs in Cardiff, Dublin and all the other places we struggle to find excellent places to stay. Very clean and comfotable, food excellent and just down right lovely hosts, could not recommend to highly. We... More

I've stayed here a number of times now, and love it. Elizabeth and David are both such wonderful, friendly hosts; it's like a home-from-home. David is so full of warmth and humour as your breakfast is served. Elizabeth makes the best poached eggs on the planet! The room I like to stay in is always immaculate and clean, with a... More

Made a late booking at Olivers but was very pleased with the standard of accommodation. Room was a good size although the shower cubicle was a bit on the small size. Room was clean and had plenty nice fluffy towels. Breakfast was what you would expect from a British b&b very good, nice choice just the right start to the... More

We booked in last minute after our camping holiday got rained off and had an excellent time. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, breakfast was delicious, and our hosts were very friendly. I would definitely recommend Olivers for a pleasant, reasonably priced stay.

We have just returned from a visit to Yorkshire, spending 3 nights at Olivers. We cannot find a fault with this b & b, from the fantastic breakfast to the helpfulness and friendliness of our hosts. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

A lovely little place, excellent breakfasts, friendly hosts. Only drawback was a very hard and uncomfortable mattress made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. Advantages: short walk to the South beach, short walk into town centre, far enough away to be quiet, reasonable prices, good size bedroom. Disadvantages: uncomfortable bed.
