This should not be called a hotel ! Not a good experience, room small and cheap fixtures and fittings, tiny shower cubicle. Heating inefficient, hot or cold nothing in between. Area not the best, breakfast not bad but everyhthing seemed too much trouble as though you were doing them a favour by staying there. Could not wait to leave and... more

Stayed at the Boundary for the first few days of the Cricket. Friendly owners, good breakfast and clean rooms. Watching the cricket from the balcony was really good. The town was only a short distance walk from the hotels, so no taxi-ing around. Wil go back next year more

Arrived at the Hotel with my husband and grandson and received a frosty reception from Maria, the owner. She then continued to abruptly instruct us that she required us to fill in a form regarding our breakfast. I asked if it was OK for my grandson to have scrambled egg on brown toast instead of the full cooked breakfast and... more

Booked 5 rooms for a family get together as we live all over the country. Scarborough seemed a good place to meet and did give us enough to do during the day, especially as we had 3 sets of grand children in our group. The rooms were all good, especially the family rooms. Clean and comfortable, The owners were friendly... more

On the face of it having 11 hairy (and fat) blokes descend on your B&B can be quite daunting, however, we are always well behaved and don't cause any problems - ever. When we arrived the lady who owns the place was very friendly and welcoming (we had already had a substantial lunchtime session) but she allowed us to settle... more

We stayed here in October 08 and everything was fine, clean and tidy, good breakfast and the price was right. It wasn't till we got home and saw the other reviews that we though we should add our own comments. We would go again if we went back to Scarborough. more

My husband and I stayed at the Boundary for 3 nights around our wedding. We had searched for a nice hotel with evening meals up North Bay, close to the registry office, the Boundary also claimed to have a four poster bed, very romantic we thought. We emailed for a quote, and then sent of our deposit cheque. We then... more

We arrived at the hotel at 12pm. We were greeted by a woman who held the door open. My Father asked the woman, "Are you coming or going?" To which the woman replied quite abrubtly, "I'm the owner!" We we arrived with two pushchairs and couldn't get through the hallway as there was two big bags of laundry in it.... more
