Our holiday was all inclusive. The staff were at all times helpful but were let down by the system of paring down everything to what appeared to be the bare minimum. Food was of school meal standard and often lukewarm. The entertainment had to be endured rather than enjoyed as there was no alternative lounge for those who didn't wish... more

Good location ,food average ,room very average, all things we can cope with at the price we paid. However the 'entertainer', Dave was so up himself it was unbelievable. On a coach holiday of this kind you expect at least average entertainment on an evening, we were served a pathetic round of age old jokes ,kareoke standard singing , It... more

Entertainment was first class throughout the 5 days , with Dave in... more

My Husband and I were looking for a hotel in Scarborough to take his parents away for New Year. We didn't want anything too formal but the hotel had to cater for diabetics and limited mobility - the Norbreck ticked all the boxes! Having booked through Shearings I wasn't sure what to expect but reckoned my hubby and I would... more

Stayed at this hotel for 5 days on a Shearings coach holiday. The room was excellent. The food was good, although I am fussy, but the wife loved it. The staff and the entertainment were excellent. Fantastic views from our bedroom window, although sea views can be had from every room. The only bad thing was the wind, with it... more

You cannot fail to have a sea view at the Norbreck Hotel as it is the only hotel that overlooks both bays. The hotel is owned by WA Shearings and is geared for their Coach & Self Drive Holidays usually of 3 or 4 nights duration. The food is more than adequate. The room and bathroom were clean and well... more
