With many hotels closed for the season, we had trouble finding an affordable hotel in Sidmouth, and took a flyer on this one. What a lovely find! Clean, comfortable and nicely appointed with friendly owners, and a central location just a stone's throw from the Esplanade. Only possible downside -- Its location on a major road (Station Rd) might mean traffic noise in the height of summer.
