Betty is lovely! She is wise and sensible and gives good advice about what to see. She cooks yummy breakfasts and really looks after you. A treasure! She gave us useful advice about walking to Beer and she leaves little treats in the room to welcome us back after a busy day!

By chance we booked into this B + B, a working farm, and we were so glad we did. The owner, Mrs Betty Sage, gave us such a genuine welcome to her lovely home and her kindness and warmth prevailed throughout our stay. We were free to come and go as we pleased which added to the relaxed atmosphere. Our... More

This was our first time at a Bed & Breakfast for my wife and I and after a three night stay we left with a smile on our faces. It was so friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Pinn Barton is a working farm in the South Devon countryside, we will be making a return visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pinn Barton Farm. It was only for one night but we were made to feel very welcome by Betty, and nothing was too much trouble. There were loads of little extras here, such as a fresh jug of milk in the fridge in your room, and sweeties by the bed!! There are also Lamas... More

Another warm welcome from Betty Sage. We brought our granddaughter for a short holiday some 8 years ago, a lovely family room, all facilities to make life easy with a small child and a great breakfast. Only last week with our two small grandsons, nothing has changed, a very warm welcome, a lovely large family room with beds for us... More

My husband and I have been staying at Pinn Barton Farm for many years and would not dream of staying anywhere else. Betty and her husband have only one aim, this being to make sure that their guests are happy, comfortable and have everything they need during their stay. Betty is always ready and willing to go the extra mile... More

This is a working farm between Otterton and Sidmouth. It is very comfortable and the Landlady - Betty - very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfasts very tasty. Also there was a supply of things you may have forgotten to pack on the landing - toothpaste, toothbrushes, disposable razors and lots more.

I agree with the previous reviewer in that the carpets and place looked a little neglected, but it is a working farm and we were there in the most dreadful weather conditions of our holiday (April) Wettest April for 100 years. Betty was very welcoming and had been in the b and b business for 30 years. Hers is a... More

We used the family room and was perfect for our stay between holidays. A real shame about the dreadful rain we had. Would loved to have walked around the farm to see all the animals. I glad also we stayed here as the winds were horrendous. We could see the coast from our room. The breakfast was ideal. The carpets... More
