Having read earlier reviews of Skyways Hotel, it was with some trepidation I arrived at the premises! However our stay had been part of a group booking so we didn't have much option. Well, the reviewers were right - the hotel certainly lives down to it's reputation. Shabby and dirty would be the only way to describe it. Our bathroom... more

The hotel does not deserve 3 stars. The building is very old, the rooms were never renovated, there are all sorts of insects in the rooms. Breakfast is a typical English breakfast: bacon and eggs. It's quite ok, but if you want somehting else, you will not be able to get it. The staff are friendly, but that does not... more

Room was filfthy including stains on the bed, stains on the bathroom wall, bath and sink. Television had it's buttons smashed in by a previous customer. 1930's decoration on the headboard complete with non-working radio. Gangster hip-hop playing till 12am where the bass was so loud it was shaking the floor. Wannabee hooligans drinking at the bar. Didn't even bother... more

We booked into this Hotel via a web site out of desperation as we had last minute tickets for Ascot and everything else was booked up. Wish we never bothered. The room was spacious but looked like it needed a good clean. If it wasn't for the fact we had arrived so late in the evening and both of us... more

Can I first say to the rest of the reviewers.....where do you think you were staying? The Ritz. We booked the Skyways Hotel quite some time ago as we are regular ladies day attendees and wanted to know we had our accomodation sorted, it was only nearer the time that I happenned to read some of the reviews and was... more

How can I put this politley? Never ever ever consider booking a room at this residence (notice I do not even consider it worth calling a hotel). The previous reviews cover the hellish conditions and I would advise anyone who is staying here to go to your doctor first to recieve vaccinations! A umberella would also be a wise purchase... more

We booked the hotel through Yahoo Travel. It had three stars and was located just outside of London, close to the airport, good place to explore both London and the areas around it (we rented a car). We arrived at The Skyways Hotel on my wife's birthday, and what a present! An incredibly filthy building outside and inside. Yes, we... more

I really don't know where to start. The hotel itself presents a shabby ,down-at-heel image not helped by mattresses propped up in a corridor and a computer monitor sitting on the floor behind the front door. The best, however, was saved for me when I arrived in my 'superior' room @ £95 per night. I was immediately aware of a... more

The Skyways hotel is the worst hotel in the UK I have ever stayed in (I stay approx 10 nights a month away from home). Check-in required payment in advance (not good). trying to find somewhere to park in the carpark was impossible, and having been literally blocked in by (yet another) white van (bringing the total in the Carpark... more

Having visited many hotels both nationwide and in different price categories, the Skyways Hotel,Slough must be near the bottom of my list for well run hotels. The standard of the room and quality of decor was poor.On our arrival we had been provided with a threadbare towel each and no toilet paper in the poorly cleaned bathroom where a set... more
