A warm welcome away from the hustle and bustle Nice comfortable rooms, all essentials taken care of and a great freshly cooked breakfast to start the day with! The pub serves good food with an interesting range of beers. The garden is large and a real sun trap!

we came here after leaving the Robin Hood pub at Rabley Heath, which, after we had ordered drinks said one of the choices was not available. And we are so pleased that that happened. We live in the area and know both pubs but what a difference - this pub apart from being very old has a very good menu,... More

Famished we stopped at Brocket Arms, our fawlty towers pub from a few years back. It had taken us 1hr 55 mins to do 11.16 miles. I had a Cumberland sausage and onion sandwich with fries and salad whilst my wife and father in law had the haddock with salad and peas and a drink (Total £30.70). Friendly service, Relaxed... More

Spent just one night here while attending a wedding locally. We received a friendly welcome on arrival and our room was comfortable and clean. The pub seems a busy place and there was a good choice of food and drink. A nice touch was having local eggs for sale in the hallway with an honesty box. Breakfast was substantial and... More

What a super place to spend a couple of nights. Classic olde English pub with excellent rooms and super people running the place as well as those visiting. Janet and I loved the selection of ales. great food and super hospitality.... We shall return.

a group of 10 of us stayed at the Brocket arms for a local wedding. It is a fantastic venue and the staff made everything so easy. We had drinks in the bar and lovely beer garden, sandwiches and the great breakfast, all really well prepared and very good service.

We stayed here on a round relative visiting trip, Edinburgh to Cardiff to Welwyn Garden City to Edinburgh. We had a lovely room in the courtyard which we were shown to by a very pleasant lady. She tried the lights and initially they did not work ands she immediately offered us another room, however we thankfully got them working as... More

This place is about people. You can go to all the museums and castles and churches in England, but if you haven't been to the Brocket Arms you'll have missed one of the real treasures of the country. As one of the local patrons said to me, "This is one of the last true British pubs." It's not the history... More

Stayed here for for 2 nights for my 40th birthday. Had a lovely stay in room 1 with the 4 poster bed. Room was nice, full of character. Had food on the Saturday night, which was very nice and plentiful. They don'y do food on a Sunday night so helped us find a good curry which we booked in advance.... More

We stayed a Friday/Saturday weekend break. The Brocket Arms is basically a pub with rooms to let. The staff are very friendly and will do everything to accommodate your needs best they can, but the best point of this beautiful place must be the food. The food is outstanding, well worth London status. The situation of this pub is rural... More
