Had a lovely overnight stay whilst visiting Chester and Jodrell Bank. Chose it due to the previous excellent reviews. Its all true - friendly hosts, comfortable rooms, great nights sleep, lovely pub and restaurant next door, great walks in lovely countryside and a truly fabulous breakfast that set me up for the whole day! Thank you.

A lovely countryside stay close to Manchester. Excellent accommodation and superb breakfast. Friendly informative hosts. Lovely walks in the area. Very handy having a pub right next door (not noisy)! We appreciated the efficient heating too, having previously stayed at guest houses where we froze due to inadequate radiators.

We have just returned from a couple of nights stay at Ash Farm Country House. We had room 1 which is the 4 poster room with en-suite. I could not find fault - lovely location, short walk to Dunham Massey, we had a lovely walk into Lymm up the Canal and overall stay was comfortable and relaxing. The hosts provided... More

This is a classy bed and breakfast just a short stroll from Dunham Massey which is why we chose it. Nothing is too much trouble to ensure a guest's comfort. The breakfast is amazing. The only down side is that room 4 only has one bedside table and light so if two are occupying the room, it is not possible... More

We would like to thank Christian for a very enjoyable two day relaxing and peaceful stay at Ash Farm. The service was 5 star and outstanding for a B & B. Wonderful log fires in both the Dining room and Sitting room. The breakfast menu was extensive, far more varied choice than some large top Hotels we have stayed in.... More

We stayed at Ashfarm for 2 nights before & after our recent trip to Marakech. This is the second time we have stayed there & we were made most welcome by David & Janice. The bedroom was very comfortable - huge bed ! The breakfast served by David was delicious. I can honestly say that Ash Farm is welcoming, cosy... More

I have stayed in many hotels throughout the world and rarely write a review. I recently stayed at Ash Farm for the second time and I have to put this review in because this is really the best B&B I have yet to find. This is down to many factors. The house with its open fires and welcome, feeling more... More

This place is a real find, and it's hard to believe it's only 20 minutes from Manchester Airport, because you're in the middle of the countryside and it's so peaceful! Everything about our stay was perfect: David and Janice are warm and welcoming, the house is beautifully furnished, there's a real fire, lovely wood everywhere, and when they heard it... More

Deep down a leafy Cheshire lane is Ash Farm just south of Altrincham and situated next door to the Swan with two nicks, a pub we used use in the 1960s and 70s. Both are on the edge of Dunham Massey park which was bequeathed to the Nationa Trust in 1976. Great setting for a top B+B with very accommodating... More
