We stayed here in between two day trips (Tatton Park and Dunham Massey). I booked a cheap room via Expedia (mystery hotel). Firstly, there is no parking, but it is adjacent to a pay and display car park. The reception area is very small and pokey, and you have to climb steps to get to the lift. The lift was... More

Stayed here from 27th - 28th June with 4 of my friends on a coach trip. We had to get off the coach at a bus stop on the Main Road and walk to the Hotel, then once we arrived had to climb some stairs to get to the lift! This proved very difficult for one of my friends who... More

I had been over booked at the Bowden and asked for a suggestion for somewhere else to stay for a funeral. I was given the Ashley - hardly a comparative hotel. This was a hotel over a shop, restaurant extraction and air conditioning units. My cousin had to be moved as her room smelt of the dirty extraction (needs a... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here overnight purely because it was close to my relatives. Yes, it is cheap for the area but still, £99 for 1 night in this place is actually terrible value for money. We arrived after a long journey to face a room that had not been cleaned. I have worked as a housekeeper before and... More

We booked a nights stay and four nights fly/park. The Ashely hotel is shabby, dated and the room we had was in an of inch of dust. The bathroom was dirty and falling apart. After being told we had to park the car in a public car park at our cost over night appreciate only £4 but not the point.... More

not good at all, poor cleanliness, poor standards of room furnishings and bedding, cheap as chips for a one night stay, you get what you pay for i suppose but i don't think id stay again, id rather pay a little more and feel comfortable, it felt like a hostel.

I stayed here with a friend on a Saturday night and I was given a 3rd floor room which can reached by a lift or the stairs. The hotel is located very near to Hale train station and the nearby car park costs upto £4 to park between 8am and 6pm. There is restaurant and a bar on the ground... More

On arrival the hotel looked very tired and grubby from the outside we were greeted by a very nice man who gave us the key to our room very charming and helpful down hill from there. We opened our room door to be greeted by stale smoke not a good sign when you have lung complaint the room was very... More

me and my girlfriend decided to stop in this hotel. After travelling down from Birmingham we expected a clean nights sleep but that is not what we got, after arriving at around 10PM the assistant on the check ins desk informed us they could not find our booking and we was standing there for around 20 tiring minutes. After finally... More
