Bedroom and bathroom sizes were a bit larger than average. Bathroom sink plumbing was outdated, consisting of separate, short hot and cold faucets. Bathtub/shower plumbing was unusual with just enough hot water available if put on maximum setting. Room was a bit warm with only one window and no fan of any type provided. Breakfast was good, but the fruit... More

This is a gem of a B&B. If you're ever in Ballater - and you should be - I recommend staying here. The rooms are very comfy, there's a big lounge, and the breakfast as well as the service is excellent.

Our original hotel had overbooked and inchgeal Lodge booked us in late in the evening, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The facilities were very good and an excellent choice for breakfast. Thank you for coming to our rescue

It was a wise decision to stay in Ballater than in other towns like Dufftown or Aberlour. A quaint little town, very clean and quiet bit with some good walks and lovely restaurants. The bed n breakfast itself was lovely, a friendly hostess and just a stone´s throw away from the centre. We had the smaller room but but it... More

Sadly, only stayed one night which wasn't long enough to fully appreciate the lovely hospitality given by Diane. We had a lovely clean, comfortable and spacious bedroom overlooking the river view. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. We hadn't been in the Ballater area before, but we intend to return for a longer stay & will certainly stay... More

We stayed here in June 2014. What a great surprise. We were greeted at the door by Diane and she showed us to our room. The room was large and had a very nice ensuite. It's was spotless and we did enjoy the stay. The only blot was the TV was not working, however we got by without it. Breakfast... More

I saw the reviews on Tripadvisor so we stopped off for a night here. The B & B is in a central location but away from the Main Street and we received a warm welcome from the owner. However, it was a very ordinary stay - the accommodation is a bit dated and could do with upgrading. Was surprised to... More

Myself and friends were on a charity event and broke a long cycling trip in Ballater and the owners were so helpful. Everything was spotless and comfortable. The bikes locked up safely and clothing ran thro the wash. Thanks again
