Sadly, only stayed one night which wasn't long enough to fully appreciate the lovely hospitality given by Diane. We had a lovely clean, comfortable and spacious bedroom overlooking the river view. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. We hadn't been in the Ballater area before, but we intend to return for a longer stay & will certainly stay... More

We stayed here in June 2014. What a great surprise. We were greeted at the door by Diane and she showed us to our room. The room was large and had a very nice ensuite. It's was spotless and we did enjoy the stay. The only blot was the TV was not working, however we got by without it. Breakfast... More

I saw the reviews on Tripadvisor so we stopped off for a night here. The B & B is in a central location but away from the Main Street and we received a warm welcome from the owner. However, it was a very ordinary stay - the accommodation is a bit dated and could do with upgrading. Was surprised to... More

Myself and friends were on a charity event and broke a long cycling trip in Ballater and the owners were so helpful. Everything was spotless and comfortable. The bikes locked up safely and clothing ran thro the wash. Thanks again

My wife and I stayed at Inchgeal Lodge for one night in July 2013. We noticed the vacancy sign next to the road, dropped in and were offered an outstanding double room for a very reasonable price. Everything was clean, the bedding was truly nice and cosy, the bathroom was spotless, and the breakfast was prepared to our liking. If... More

I don't do gushing reviews but if I did this place would get one! Would definitly reccommend. Nuff said. Ask to see Mickey the dog, he's gorgeous. And if you go in the winter maybe you'll get a ride in the catterpillar thingy in the garage.

This is one of those B & B's which has higher standards than most hotels. Our room was beautiful, well decorated but retaining original period details. The owner was very helpful and offered to provide a very early breakfast for us. We will be going back.

We booked Inchgeal Lodge originally because we couldn't find accommodation around Stonehaven (Dunnottar) but it turned out the perfect place to stay. Isobel welcomed us warmly, we had the best room in the house (the Family suite with a bathroom bigger than my whole apartement at home) and enjoyed a very good breakfast. As a bag pipe-teacher Isobel played a... More

Our stay at Inchgeal was great. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating, The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and the price reasonable. We shared the breakfast table with four other guests and the food and conversation made a great start to the day. We would definitely stay here again.
