Country house hotel providing superb friendly service. The hotel is set in attractive grounds with pheasants & red squirrels, just outside Ballater. The rooms are simple but clean, comfortable and attractive. The people are very friendly and can't do enough for you. The star is Moira, the manager. The food is excellent, well presented, with imaginative touches. Only downside is... more
